IKR. Keep a minimum price over which the product returned must be inspected without fail. Its like Amazon is inviting scammers to use their services.

In addition to taking ink cartridges to Staples for credit, they also take electronics to recycle. Good way to keep it out of the landfill.

You can get store credit on certain auto parts that have core charges like brake master cylinders alternators starters. Most have about a 15 to 25 dollar core charge. I would check on that if you get any more auto parts.

I worked for a major retailers for 30 years. Salvage to us wasn’t damaged, it was marked out of stock so it could be sold off to jobbers.

Miguel Hamrol often when we pick up the boxes they are not taped. This is the tape we have on hand to get it home safely.

I would be wearing gloves unboxing any box of returned goods. Part of my job used to be processing returned and traded in cell phones for a large authorized cellular retailer and man were they nasty! Always wore gloves when testing/inspecting the phones.

I bought a processor once that was the wrong one in the box... and had a heck of a time returning it. Had to get the GM involved. I finally convinced them when I told them that I didn't want a refund. I told them I just wanted the processor I paid for.

B Bill Boxes are often not taped when picking them up. To get them home safely we need to tape and this is the tape we have on hand. Solved the mystery lol

I resell OEM toner/Inks because I'm in the printer repair business so get some back unopened but if customers give me unused generic toners like that I just recycle them. I will only resale the OEM stuff since generics can have issues or not work as well so I don't want the bother with getting returns or bad feedback. Those probably got returned because they had failures on another and decided it wasn't worth it.

To The Wife, the other day I watched a food unboxing and you committed that you like bread and butter Valasic pickles. You can get No Sugar Added Bread and Butter Spears. The American Flag Vic is always sold out and is a higher price point when I was looking for them on Amazon. About the toner / ink exchange at Staples: you have to have a store card, and they exchange empties they sold you for store credit, not one out of the “wild.” I was excited too and got let down. (By the way, the “store card” is free and is of the variety that some stores use to track purchases and give sale prices) Great job! I’m loving these videos! Oh, I think I see a helicopter AND a plane ✈️ in the distance. 🧐🤣😉

On the ear wax thing I agree. A lot of people are pigs. If you ever rent a apartment to someone first look at the inside of their car. If its full of trash its a good indication that is the way they will treat the apartment.

@@elbaecc You are right about them not keeping up w/ the times. They had the big catalog esp for xmas and they never advanced beyond that to the internet. If they had at the start, they might have been able to create a presence and keep up their sales. Also they shot themselves in the foot the year they tried to force people to get a discover card and refused to take any other credit card. I remember trying to buy my mother inlaw a robe and the lady said they only too discover.

I agree about retailers checking returns. I was never more embarrassed as when I got my mother a grind and brew coffee pot for a gift. As soon as it was opened it was used. Full of coffee grounds in and around the pot. Many people lack the simple gift of morals. So sad.

They've said in previous video's that the tape is theirs, they use it to secure boxes when transferring them home as they collect the pallets in person.

What are the I-3 Processor other numbers? Such as I3 6100, or the next 4 numbers on it. They indicate the approximate year model it is. I actually do use those, and somewhat interested in what that CPU chip is. Thank you.

I have the ULTIMATE return scam. Found a pair of AVN night vision goggles in a gaylord we were going through. In the box. When I looked them up, they were not just any night vision goggles. They were 11, 585.00 night vision goggles from AVN with the head harness. We were whooping it up for 3 frigging days!!!!!!. Box, hang tags were original from AVN and Looked at all the photos I could find online to be double, triple sure we had actual unit. Went to finally fire them up which required only a Double AA battery, We did not have the manual and so we waited to find out if we could use a regular battery. Anywho, took the cap off to insert the battery.......Wait, where are the contacts for the -\+ connection? I than removed a screw thinking the one I opened was to hold a spare battery and the section next to it was the real compartment. out came the screw, but, nothing came apart. Wait...Are these things real? They were not. They were mock ups, movie props, war gaming kind of stuff. The box was indeed real, someone had swapped the real AVN product with a very convincing dummy pair of goggles, returned the product to Amazon and possibly got a 12K refund?......Who knows? These would have sold in moments for 11K had they been real. I was not really upset. I found a GARMIN GPSMAP 66i worth 550.00 and a photo light meter worth 1,600.00 so it was still a good day.

i keep hearing your talking returning used toner cartridges for credit.....have you actually called yet to find out if its true or not yet ?? just asking..because if just one viewer told you that and you havent called yet to find out if it true or not....it may be that you have to buy the toner there and you get a credit to buy more toner ??just sayin or maybe you had to buy the toner there first and then return it and get a credit towards new toner there.. the credit you get may only be good for just new toner from there only and no good for anything else but that....better to call and find out whats what first..

Our Staples will give you a $10 gift card after you return 10 cartridges to be recycled. I'm not sure of that's true in all stores. There is a rewards program if buy cartridges from Staples and the recycle them with them. Our Staples used to give a ream of paper for recycled cartridges.
