@RuMadddd First of all, I buy fast fashion, it's hard not to. Fast fashion is easy, and u would say that's what you use for basic needs : t shirt, underwear, some sweater, etc. Fast fashion is something common. Now, there is a difference between buying essential stuff and over consumming things you don't need essentially. Thus, she does it from a store that's worldwide known for neglecting human rights and exploiting uygurs ( I don't know if I write that right). The argument of people being too poor doesn't work either for her. She's buying extra stuff, as I said. If she didn't have the money she wouldn't have. Finally, I don't mean that's people can't spoil themselves and buy cute stuff. The most important thing in that cruel world is to keep empathy as a priority, you can still but cute things, but there are more ethical way

I understand why you are saying this but what else am I supposed to do? I can barely afford to live I can't afford 20-50 dollar shirts and 40-80 dollar pants and sweatshirts I need to eat. Besides, Shein isn't the only place that has this problem literally almost every store does the same thing. Nike, Zara, H&M, ASOS, Adidas, Victoria's Secret, heck even Amazon and the list goes on. Accept it, it's just the cruel world we live in. There's nothing we can do about it.

It’s not that serious so many companies do like Nestle(who own majority of food companies) Microsoft&Apple(which u could be using one of rn) which are Trillion dollar companies how many ppl u think they’ve exploited(and still currently use child labor) & H&M & McDonald’s it’s not just shein if anything using the other products is worse

@@odenn6766 Dont get me wrong I also shop from shein because its cheap and a lot of people can't afford more sustainable clothing options however there are second hand options in thrift stores and apps like depop or vinted which i think should be the first option, and if u cant find something on there then you can buy it on a fast fashion site. All we can do is try to be aware of how we use our money and which companies we give it to. As she said in the video she hadn't shopped on shein in months so she's doing better than most people !! We can continue to educate people but need to focus on giving the hate to the big corporations and rich ppl who can afford to buy sustainably but choose not to.
