Re Fantazio actually is switching things up from Persona. There's a mix of real time combat and turn based and you can choose which way to engage depending on the enemy level among other things. I recommend checking out the extended gameplay showcase.

I really appreciate it when devs show a game/expansion and says we'll be able to play it in a few hours. I'm so fed up w/ the rollercoaster that is game development. I don't want to watch a game I'm super excited for morph into something I won't touch, just to slightly pivot back to something I might give a shot if it's incredibly cheap or free. 2hrs in and I haven't seen anything I'm hyped for, but a bunch of stuff I might be willing to give a shot.

Shorts really only make sense for creators like Mark Robber. I've been impatiently waiting for that next big game announcement to get hyped for that isn't years out. We have nothing announced until GTA6 and nothing after it at this point. I'm hoping more developers are choosing not to announce too soon, but I seriously doubt that's the reason.

Street Fighter x KOF ABSOLUTELY HYPED. 1st Descendants, Black Myth Wu Kong, Sparking Zero, Phantom Blade 0. Are my most anticipated games of the year. Other games I liked were: LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killer Bean, Unknown 9, Alan Wake 2 Night Springs DLC.

Idk if this is a hot take but I don’t see the point in buying or playing that new Lego Horizon game. I love Lego games but why would I spend money on a watered down Lego version of Horizon when Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West is on most consoles? I’d say the only time I might get it is if I have extra space on my switch and have some money to spare.

Ngl Metaphor looks amazing, Its seemingly Atlus's Elden Ring, Combination of all their other games into one massive JRPG. Don't really get Charlie's take on that one, Says its too similar to Persona and heavily criticizes using a similar format, Like taking inspiration from one of their most incredible franchises is a bad thing, Dude never seems to have any issues whatsoever with Fromsoft reusing their Dark Souls formula for games like Bloodborne, Sekrio & Elden Ring. Really hope he decides to give Metaphor a chance when it comes out.
