My aunt was into angels back in the day. 😊 I hit a garage sale outside the church thrift store and another thrift this morning. I kept thinking what would Kelly buy. 😉. I think I found some good farmhouse items including a wooden pig.

I absolutely positively LOVE going to flea markets, thrift stores, antique malls.... I think you get the picture. This was an awesome flea market! I would of bought that wagon for $10. and filled it with goodies! Looks like you and your Mom got a lot of cool things! My Mom passed away four years ago, gosh I miss her so much. She fell, broke her right hip and arm. Had a stroke after her hip surgery. It can happen so quick. Be careful you two and enjoy making memories! Saw that you passed up a coffee grinder and just wanted to let you know how I saw one displayed in a store with coffee, mugs, etc. it was adorable and a real eye catcher. For some reason it made the mugs look more expensive.

Never seen a cheese box before in my life maybe we don’t have them in Iowa though. Everyone asks me why I don’t decorate my small apartment simple every penny I make goes to rent, cell phone, electric and maybe some groceries if I am lucky. I simple don’t have the money to do anything else and that’s with working two jobs. Wished I could but I never have any extra money laying around and if I do it’s to get quarters so I can do my laundry at the mat . I enjoy getting to see the things I would buy if I only had money to do it.

I recognized this Salvation Army right away. My boyfriend and I go there a lot. I feel like all of our thrift stores in Michigan, the prices have gone up so much it makes it harder to find things to flip or even to just purchase for yourself. Yea...the tire was definitely a bummer but the whole thrifting trip made up for that! Are you taking about the wire basket? I think I said that one would be a GREAT trash to treasure! My thoughts were to have a shiplap type of board that you could mount the wire basket to at the bottom. Then at the top you could put a vinyl saying and even add clips for pictures. The wire basket could then be filled with flowers, such as some greenery and lavender. It would be really cool! The 3 different levels stand with dangling faux crystals did not come with any glass. I have one just like it tat I bought thru ABC, years ago. It is made for your favorite plates.

That's so weird how things can be priced so differently! I know where my mom lives her stores are super cheap! I live in the city and they are a little more expensive but you're saying Kalamazoo is really high, huh??? (My aunt went to college in Kalamazoo by the way.) Ok. So I watched this yesterday and it kind of freaked me out (only a. Little🤣😂) so I watched again today just to make sure I wasn’t imagining things. Which is possible at my age! I am in the South USA and you are in Michigan right? But I went shopping last Tuesday and I, honest to God, bought the exact dups of many of the things you showed us on this video. And the first three items, I bought them! Are we sending each other subliminal messages or am I “your southern sister from another mister”?😂😂😂 Mind meld🖖 . Anyway, I obviously think you have excellent taste! Love these shopping trips with you. Tfs!

The little dress form that you put back, are you sure it was broken? Or maybe it was just the way it was are in the bust area? I'm not trying to be petty, and I may be mistaken, I just didn't notice anything broken on it. I know how you like dress forms, and was just curious. You had a wonderful day today but despite the flat tire. What a great haul! I'm going to retire in October, and plan to do a lot of yard,garage, and thrift store saling. I'm also going to take my granddaughters with me and teach them the art of refurbishing their hauls. I love your videos !

I know....high prices can take all the fun out of thrifting trip, but I totally agree with you! The yard sales are where you can find some of your best deals!!! My mom always finds such great stuff at them and for $1 or $2-! Anyway, thank for watching and for sharing! XOXO

Hi Aileen! The thrift store that is opening up is the one that was previously on VanDyke...it's the old Vincent DePauls. The first 500 people get a $5 coupon off, they told me. And, I most certainly can tell you which ones I go to. Here is a list: Salvation Army on Hall Rd (M-59) (it's the Utica Salvation Army) Go to the NEW Vincent DePaul's that we just spoke about...it will literally be around the corner. I go to the one on VanDyke...it's the Salvation Army in Shelby Township (23 & VanDyke). My favorite Salvation Army is the Rochester one. (It's about 20 minutes from these. It's on Auburn Rd.) There is also a St. Mary's Thrift Store on VanDyke and 19 mile rd (It's so so) ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I recently found two AWESOME Salvation Army's....(it was in my latest video), but they are further away. Maybe they will be on your way to my area. If so....they are soooo worth going! I found tons of stuff at them! Salvation Army-Bloomfield Hills Salvation Army- Walled Lake Hope that help! You know what....I FORGOT TO MENTION THE COLOR TAG!!! OMG....how did I forget that?!?!? Oh well....sorry about that, Connie!!! I normally show a picture of the color tag and say what I got off 50% but I it totally slipped my mind! It had to be that flat tire! LOL
