new customers had moved in to this house, they think it was left for around 3/4 years. I drained the pool with a submersible pump, its a fibreglass finish pool it was so dirty but came up just like new after jet washing and acid washing!

should always check that hydrostatic plug while your down there, if no drywell in area your literally rolling the dice every time you drain a pool like this. ground water is no joke, would hate to see a pool lift out of the ground on you.

I did a sand change on the filter, the circulation pump was working fine! And there was no heater

Have you considered using one of those industrial paving/patio sprayers to cover a bigger area faster rather than using the Lance? Also a pressure sprayer for the acid wash rather than the watering can?
