I'd so love to be there! I've seen tornados here in Oklahoma.. most of my life... I've had to leave Florida for a hurricane evacuation since I wasn't a resident.. I've been in massive storms on cruise ships.. I want to witness a hurricane b4 I leave this place! Call me crazy! Im 56! Im very jelly right now! Stay safe and God bless!

you caught some nice waves there on the jetty towards the end, love this stuff you go guy! just be really careful and rule of thumb never turn your back to the waves, if you do keep your eyes peeled behind you! Thank you for the footage it's awesome

The Packery Channel jetty is closed because it is super slick and not safe to walk down towards the end from all the algae on the concrete of which gets worse and almost impossible once you pass the safety gate. In the past, people were literally swept off the jetty by the waves because you literally have no traction. I was out there last night fishing in the channel but, I was over by the boat launch.

This is not the storm surge yet, this is regular rain storm waves. It will get 2 to 3 feet higher when the storm surge hits

Hey, be aware that things can fly a long way in high winds. If a small sign or a small metal plate is flying at 60mph, it will kill you. You will never see it coming. Please always have some cover. Good luck tonight. You staying in your truck? I loved being on the coast in hard weather.
