I find it odd how many people think that the Money in the Bank briefcase instantly elevates people to stardom. It has proven not to and can even be a detriment in some cases (especially when you know they’re not going to cash in successfully). Some personalities can get a lot out of having it, but those are specific circumstances. You can’t just do the same thing every time, especially after having someone hold it for almost a year. A lot of the extra justification for this could be how long the womens MitB is in play. Because usually, it’s the women’s briefcase that is cashed in almost immediately and the mens that gets a run and some story. So I don’t mind it being the other way around for once. Having them both be in play for a while and in stories can kind of dilute each other.

Priest should beat Gunther. Hear me out. Priest's character arc is that he wants the validation of being a fighting champion that doesn't need outside help. Thus far, he's not been able to retain without shenanigans. He and Gunther should go back and forth for 20 minutes. Then we get a ref bump and a double down. Gunther gets up first but Balor runs down and hits him with the tag belt. Priest gets up, hits south of heaven and the ref recovers to count the pin. Priest has his validation because he thinks gunther was down the entire time. He later finds out what really happened and that furthers the tension he has with Balor. I'm honestly just so tired of storylines being blown up and other guys getting sacrificed so Gunther can look strong. He just had a belt for almost two years. He doesn't always need to have a belt.
