Probably the perfect superhero casting. Against all odds (was an unknown theater actor and wasn't short-making fanboys freak out), Hugh fucking nailed it as Logan. And take it from somebody who has seen the film, he delivers the definitive Wolverine portrayal and finally got to make the movie he's always wanted that's true to the character. It's the best since The Dark Knight and it might be better if I'm being honest. It's the Wolverine movie we've been waiting for. It's devastating seeing my childhood end (both Hugh and Patrick said this was their last) but trust me when I say that it ends in the best way imaginable. Prepare yourselves

Yeah, if there is another movie Wolverine to be made, it has to be done for a new generation. I'd say 10-15 years might be a decent gap, maybe even more because fans can get really snobby about having someone new take up a well-done role like this.

I caught Hugh Jackman on a train here in Sydney. I don't know WHY he was taking the train lol but he's honestly THE most coolest guy in the whole world. So humble and caring and just extremely kind for a man of his fame especially.

X Kjk It was a simple skin cancer, not leukemia or some major form of cancer. Basal cell carcinoma to be exact.

Gizmil Gaming some skin cancer is basically just a mole that you gotta remove, really not a big deal. Cancer is such a wide term. Like virus - could be a cold, could be ebola

Adi Adrian there are simple cancers.. looking at the site of the cancer, i think it is basal cell carcinoma. it is a skin cancer which locally erodes but does not metastasize. also known as rodent ulcer.

If you look at Hugh now he looks so much more relaxed and happier than ever (don't get me wrong he's always a great guest).He beat cancer and managed to portray the same role for 17 freakin years. You can tell that's a lot of weight off his shoulders. Thank you Hugh for portraying one of my favorite childhood comic book heroes. I can say that for many of us.

This man did something that few actors have done. He took an already pre-existing, popular, awesome character, and made it even greater, gave the character a voice (when i read Wolverine i hear Hugh) and truly made it HIS role. He is one of the few except for maybe Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill/Heath Ledger as Batman and Joker respectively. Maybe Robert Downey Jr. aswell. I know im missing some, but the point is that few have done what Hugh accomplished with Wolverine, and i know without a doubt many of us could never see anyone else playing this iconic character. Thank you for bringing Wolverine to life Hugh!

when i see all actors.. i always have a feeling they have a dark/rude side to them.. or that they are not 100% like that (nice / sweet /polite) and probably are different in real life... the ONLY one i think is 100% real and is truely a wonderful person is Hugh Jackman...bless his heart and wish him a long happy life.. he is simply lovely.

I remember when he was first announced to play Wolverine and people went nuts! They just hated the idea! Just goes to show you put the right actor in the right part and a good script and it can all work out! Jackman has done 17 years of pure awesomeness! Even if a script wasn't perfect, he always embraced and embodied this character 110%! So we love you, glad to see you got that cancer early and he is just the nicest guy! So proud to get to see Logan March 3! Happy to get to see the finale performance but so sad to see him go! God bless you, you will always be Wolverine! Hate to see someone try to feel those shoes!
