And he's not fast enough to vibrate to the same frequency as air to run on it like the Flash. And even if he was he couldn't use his powers bc he'd still die. So he's fucked either way.

The speedster would win hands down. Teleportation is awesome and OP, but it does not enhance your reaction time. Seeing how A Train is able to move faster than light and slow down time, Hughie would be done for. You can’t react or predict something that you can’t see. She is also able to manipulate surrounding electricity for some reason. Her powers haven't really been explained much or delved into. As her roll was much less significant in the comics. Yeah, you clearly can't see the meaning of the scene; while you're right that A-train has done terrible stuff; what the scene want you to look is the fact that A-train has been through what Hughie's been through (although a bit less horrible), he saw his brother get paralyzed by Blue Hawk and couldn't do anything about it (Physically and publicly) because of his heart problem and bc Vough wouldn't let him. A-train is practically powerless (in anyway possible) and on this scene Hughie is the one in power, he has compound-V and a green card to kill anyone; the meaning of the scene is the power that Compound V has on people, the sensation of giving powers to people, you can see the difference between Hughie when he does and doesn't take compound-V meanwhile you can see the genuine regret of A-train and what he has done 👍

Then when Hughie confronts A-Train about it, the first thing A-Train does is be dismissive, which gives the message to Hughie that he doesn't feel like he needs to apologize for anything, then after being confronted further the first thing he says is "'I'm sorry'. Is that what you want to hear?", and everything that follows is already shot in their legs because starting like that ensures that either Hughie won't be listening at all after being pissed off, or because it's going to be seeing as just acting on the part of someone who doesn't want to deal with it anymore and is just doing the bullshit virtue-signalling pretty much all Vough's heroes do on the daily.

Not really? Hughie hasn’t really changed, just the circumstances did. The show really preaches the message “power corrupts” and in cases like A-train and Deep it shows that message very well but it also often fails big time like with Hughie. We’re told Hughie is turning bad because of the powers, but he was already getting desensitized to collateral damage before the powers, and all he’s used them for is to save those he cares about and punch people who definitely deserve it.
