😊 Yeah man, She's starting to become half way decent, It just needs a few more items to make it into a performer,😁 metal turntable gear ⚙️, upgraded metal turntable servo, some servo limiter switches, and some Huina 1580 metal track drive cogs, I'm still using the stock 1550 plastic drive cogs,😕 but after that, she should be good,😁👍 But all that is about another $100.00 bucks give, or take,🥺 mo money 😭 But at the moment, lol She's doing pretty well,😁 The new controller setup is Awesomely user friendly, and the extra weight is keeping her in place while digging,😊 and best of all, it's got more digging power & moving power than the chassis can handle,😁😂 Over powered across the board, 😁 which is how I like it to build things,😂 lol Thanks for your Awesome Compliments Matt, and for all of your Continued Channel Support my Brother.😊🤜🤛

😁👍👍 I figured that you would like this Upgrade,😊 It really helps out with controlling the Excavator while digging,😁 A very simple upgrade, that makes a World of Difference with operating the machine,😊👍 As for weight; She's getting portly,🐖 😂👍 Just over 4 kilo's, almost 9.5 pounds, at least that's what this cheap fishing scale reads,🤔 Personally I think that it weighs a little bit more, at least that's the general consensus from everyone who has picked it up,🤔 I'm guessing that it's over 10 pounds, probably getting closer to 5 kilo's in all reality, 😕 I'm going to get a digital fishing scale,⚖️ that way I can get a more accurate reading, on the weight of my RC's,🤔😁👍 So far though, the extra weight is really helping out, Next thing is the metal swivel gear, and upgraded Servo,😁👍 but I have other projects in front of it, so the Excavator is gonna have to wait a few minutes,😊👍👍 P.S. 🙂👍 it will totally work on your excavator mate, 😊👍 All you need to do is remove the rear portion of the body, locate the turn table servo wires, which are behind the cab, and directly next to the base of the main boom, If you are looking at the back of the excavator, it's on the left side of the main boom,👍 And then locate the wires on the main boom servo motor, Which is directly at the back of the main boom base, can't miss either one of them,😊👍 And then all you need to do is swap the wires around, All else fails, If you carefully unscrew the stock circuit board, and flip it over, You will see on the under side of the board, that everything is labeled, M1-M6, I didn't show the stock board in this video, but in my previous Huina video I kinda showed that stuff, not that matters,lol Just saying, everything is labeled on the underside of the stock circuit board,😊 But you really don't need to look at the board, all you need to do is swap the turntable motor wires, with the main boom motor wires, 😁👍👍 Just make sure that your going in the right direction before you soldier the wires back together,😊🤜🤛 Fyi this is a gen 1 1550 as well, I bought it from a local general store, for $14.99 us dollars,😂 "display model" marked "As Is" 😁👍 lol I still have the original price sticker on the bottom of the track carriage,😂 lol So my starting price has made all the current upgrades worth while,😁👍 Right now, I've got a little bit more than $120.00 dollars into the Excavator, 😕 Biggest Upgrade, was Installing the Huina 1580 all metal track drive units,🙄 Full on Custom Fit! 😕 I had to remove a Insane amount of plastic material from the track carriage, 🙄 I literally had it on a bench grinder, and was shaving plastic off the bottom of the track carriage, Like a meat slicer at a local Deli! 😂Lol No 🐂💩! 😕 It's Totally Custom, and I've got them bolted in, and more secure than Fort Knox,😂😁👍👍 It's seriously over powered,😁 lol but it needs it, especially weighing in at just over 4 kilo's, 😂👍 lol That's also why I had to upgrade the 1550 circuit board, the 1580 track drive units over loaded the original circuit board,😭 I bought the new board on Amazon,😕 it's slightly upgraded from the original, and is 2s lipo friendly 😊👍 I think that I paid around $36.00 dollars for the circuit board, and it included a matching board for the transmitter,😊👍 So far the new board is handling everything without any issues,😁 Fyi swapping the wires around as shown in this video, will not hurt your excavator's circuit board, The circuit board will never know the difference,😁👍 Thanks for your Awesome Compliments, and many more for checking out the Huina Upgrade video my Brother. 😊🙂🤜🤛

? 😕 It's a 4 wire plug on this Excavator, Which is equipped with a "updated motherboard" And you can't just unplug it, and turn it around, 😕 The plug only goes in one way,😕 and if you did just simply Spin the plug around, There's no Guarantees that the Servos would be going in the right direction, or the direction that I wanted them to travel in,😕 And on the stock "motherboard", There isn't any plugs to speak of,🤔 Everything is soldiered directly to the board, "Hardwired" no plugs! 😕 So if someone watched this video who still has the stock motherboard, Then this video would be helpful for them. 😊👍 "Limiters" don't know if you noticed or not, but I don't have any limiters on my Excavator, 😕 None what so ever! The stock Huina 1550 motherboard, is Hardwired! "Unless they changed something on them within the last year or so, So no plugs to simply swap around! 😕 This Upgraded motherboard, That "I" installed in a previous video, Is equiped with Quick disconnect plugs, 😁 But they are in blocks of four,🤔 "four wires per plug" Essentially two servos per plug, And it only plugs in One way! 😕 If you slid the plastic plug base off of the motherboard, You can Spin the entire plug 180°🤔 But that is a potentially Risky procedure,🤔 It's completely do able,😁 But it's Risky for the average individual to attempt,😕 Real easy to mess up the pin's protruding from the Board,🤔 Go from this 👉 ||||, to this 👉\\|/, or worse yet, break pin's completely off of the board. And once you spun the plug, Your stuff would be swapped around no Doubt, But it would also be running backwards, essentially reversing both of them,🤷 The Plug goes like this; 👉 + - + -, and if you spin it around, it goes like this; 👉 - + - +, 🤔 😕 see what I'm saying ? So that's a No go, on a direct flip of the plug,🤔 So the next simple Suggestion, Would be to swap the pin's around on the male four way plug,😕 Relatively easy, but not always possible pending on the type of plug,🤔 And also, Easy to break a plastic hold down tab, off of the plug housing, in the process,😕 Or you could really red neck it up, And try to Split the male 4 way plug, into two half's,🤔😕 And that is a very Risky Procedure, Extremely easy to F-up! Especially for the everyday individual,😕 And that is also a potential RC Liability! 🤔😕 So really Dylan,😕 not to be rude, but your advice isn't very sound my friend,😕 I apologise for possibly hurting your feelings Dylan,🥺🙏 But the way that I'm going about showing this procedure, Is probably the Best way to go about it, for anyone who might attempt this procedure on their own. 😕 And once again, unless Huina changed out the stock motherboard on the 1550 Excavator recently, Then all the wires on the stock board would be Hardwired directly to the board, no plugs period! 😕 M1-M6 are all soldiered directly to the motherboard, Everything is directly soldered to the motherboard, power plug, speaker, flashing led light, and "M1-M6" M1 & M2 are the track drive units, M3 is the Excavator's Bucket, M4 is for the Secondary Boom arm "in - out" M5 is for the main boom arm "up - down", and M6 is for the Slueing servo "rotating the excavator left & right" All Hardwired directly to the motherboard.😕 So once again no plugs to swap! 😕 And I apologise for my Reply, but this is how I personally seen it with your comment, and I've been working on this Reply since 9pm and it's currently 3am, 😕 But this is my thoughts on your comment, I could either; A) Not answer you B) Delete your comment for the potential bad advice C) Try to reply, as Kindly as possible, and I obviously went with option C 😊👍 Even though you didn't necessarily say anything kind to me, or my video, I still felt as though you deserved a reply, Mutual respect! 😊👍 Thanks for checking out the video my friend.😊👍👍

Has it been 16 hrs already,🙄 And yep! 😂👍 The stock transmitter is a Serious POS,😂 lol But it's much more user friendly now,😁👍👍 In all honesty, I don't know why Huina didn't set it up like this from the factory,🙄 It's 100% better than it was currently.😊 This little excavator is actually turning into quite the little machine,😂 just over 4 kilo's, she's now heavier than the Huina 1593, and probably has some weight on the wltoys excavator as well,😂👍👍 But it's still a Far Cry from the Huina 580 🥺 but it's getting better,😁 much better than it was in stock form.😊 Thanks for your Awesome Comment Marcin, and many more thanks for checking out the video my Brother.😊🤜🤛👍👍

Yes sir, there's a lot of those videos out there on Huina Upgrades,🤔 same thing with Huina unboxing videos, A whole bunch of blah blah blah, All in a foreign language,🙄😂 it's terrible, which is another reason why, I started doing some Huina videos of my own, Someone needs to pick up the slack for the English speaking people out there.😂👍👍

I've had a lot of people ask me that same question my friend, and I don't really have a answer for it.🤔 I could be wrong, but I would suggest first off that you start off with fully charged batteries in the vehicle, as well as the transmitter, Next I would turn on the transmitter and then wait a second, and then turn on the excavator "making sure that the excavator is sitting on the floor in a open area" Next thing is to push the triangle button on the transmitter one time, (the triangle button puts the vehicle into demonstration mode) and see if the excavator goes into demonstration mode and starts moving around on it's own,🤔😕 "if it does, then it's bound up, and you can tap the triangle button once more to get it out of demo mode. And if nothing happens then you've got a problem.... Because I'm not aware of any other way of possibly binding them together. When I had to replace the motherboard on my excavator, I made sure to order a matching board for the transmitter at the same time "just to guarantee that I didn't have that same problem" 🙄😕😔 I hope that everything works out for you tinygoliath, if it doesn't... Then you might need to order a matching set of boards for it.😕

Something tells me the replacement controller (even though the exact one for the 1550 from the vendor themselves - Hui Na) just won't pair for some reason and I may need to replace motherboard as well. I bought my 1550 "as is" without a box, from a retail outlet store for $15.00 dollars. And I wasn't surprised that it didn't come with a manual, but everything worked so I wasn't complaining.😄 Now my 1580 & 1593 are different stories, I bought both of those brand new, and there was no manuals included with them either.😕 That's messed up! Especially since the 1580 is their "top of the line excavator" and it comes in a extremely fancy "simulated leather wrapped" storage case,🤔 but no manual! 😕 I mean... what's the deal with that! How can they honestly sell these things by the thousands, and not include some sort of written words on "what to do if the vehicle comes out of bind with the transmitter" and exactly how to get everything paired back up again.🙄😕 It's crazy.... And don't get me started on replacement parts for these things,🙄 That stuff is practically non existent! Very few and far between with replacement parts, 96% of the parts on these things are not available for purchase. And that's just wrong in my eyes.😕 It essentially means that if something goes wrong with it, that you're gonna have to replace the entire machine vs the broken part in question.😮 And that's Bull Crap! 🤔 Huina needs to step it up with that stuff, they need to include a complete manual with every machine,as well as carrying a complete line of replacement parts for each machine.😕 Not only that, but they also need to make a cheap 6 wheel drive tipper truck, with limited suspension, decent ground clearance, and a good set of rubber tires that can go off-road, for less than $500 bucks... 😕😄😁 Anyways.... Those are just my thoughts 😂 ha ha ha lol And I wish you all the best with getting yours figured out my friend.😉👍

I don't see why it wouldn't 🤔 but that depends on the transmitters internal layout, it might not be as simple as flipping a stick around,😕 "worse case scenario you could remove the body from the excavator, and swap the wires around on the motherboard instead,😕 Either way it shouldn't be that difficult to switch it around.😊👍

😉👍 yep I also have a 1580v4 & a 1593 & a 1592 Dump truck & a Laegendary Tipper & a Legendary Buckster loader, and then there's this little 1550,😊 Which is actually one of my favorites, It weighs 10'lbs it can lift 11'lbs and it's compact & low to the ground as well, 🤔😊 it's a very capable little Excavator 😁👍 although it's controls are a bit awkward,🤔 not bad now after the little button switcheroo 😁 But it's a real pain jumping from the 1550 to the 1580 or 1593 😂👍 Side note; I also worked outdoors my entire life in the landscaping, and landscape supply industry, as well as Running a topsoil screening plant, and I also drove a 99 Sterling 15'yrd 15 speed triple axle Dump truck for 13 year's. 😉👍 I also have a Cat "master key" on my key chain 😁😂 Thanks for your Awesome comment Roel 😊🙏👍 And many more thanks for checking out the video my friend.😁🤜🤛

I'm sorry but I don't really have any suggestions on that.😕 To me it sounds like it might be an antenna issue, Like maybe one of the antenna wires isn't quite connected to the circuit board.🤔 Or.... It's something more complicated, having to do with one of the motherboard's themselves. 😕 Question; ❓ What all did you purchase ? Did you purchase the Excavator motherboard, or the Transmitter motherboard, or was it Both ? When I was replacing the Motherboard on my excavator, I made sure to purchase the matching set, I bought the Excavator & Transmitter motherboards as a complete set.😕 Otherwise.... That's about all I can come up with.🤔😕 I'm sure theirs gotta be a way to bind those Huina's up, that doesn't involve having matching motherboards, but I'll be damned if I know what it is.. 😕 And to be honest I've never even looked it up anywhere either.🤔 You might want to go on KZfaq and Search 🔍 "Huina binding process" Or try doing a internet search on the same thing "Huina Binding process" No guarantee's on finding anything... But that's the best solution that I can come up with Brother. 😕👍. Sorry man 😟

Wow! That's Crazy that it's brand new and still not binding,🤔 It should have been pre bound from the factory.😕 What is the exact model on your excavator ? 1550 ? 1593 ? 1580 ? 1594 ? If it's the 1550; There should be a Triangle shaped button on the Transmitter, that puts the excavator into a short Demonstration mode,😕 if so... Place the excavator on the Floor in a open space, Then Switch On the Excavator 1st, Then wait a second, and turn on the Transmitter right afterwards, Once you've done that, try pushing the Triangle shaped button on the Transmitter to put it into demo mode, Then let it go through it's demo, And see if the Excavator is working properly afterwards.😕 Technically speaking, it should auto bind as soon as you turn it on.😕 I'm also wondering about the on/off switch on the Excavator,🤔 Does that feel solid ? 😕 Meaning does it feel like it's working properly when you turn the machine on & off ? 😕 I mean, it almost sounds like you could be losing power from something vibrating towards a bad connection, Like a bad switch that's making & braking or something like that.🤔😕 Just a thought! Might have to take the body off of the Excavator and take a look at the electronics beneath, just to make sure everything is plugged in all the way, and that all the wires and connections look alright. Antenna wires; The Transmitter has a short clear coated wire contained within that extends off of the motherboard "That is the antenna wire" You might want to take the Transmitter apart, and make sure that the antenna wire isn't cut, or getting pinched anywhere. Fyi; Never cut or trim the Antenna wires, it will never work right again if you do. Excavators Antenna; Same thing... there's a short clear coated wire attached to the motherboard under the Excavator's body, Make sure that it's connected to the motherboard, and make sure that it's not cut, or pinched anywhere. Otherwise... I'm not sure once again, But If I had the machine in front of me, it would probably be a different story.😂👍
