I'm doing well with an XP-Pen Artist Pro 16. I just came here to watch you sketch. I just started using Concepts myself for character sketches after watching you draw on it often. Great video as always!

@@josephk8506 i do have a macbook air, actually! I'll go install some art software later, try it out and respond back here with the details in about a day.

@@josephk8506 I just connected it to my macbook now and ran Krita. I had some issues with the setup, but at least with MacOS Sonoma, I was able to manually set the tablet's screen resolution to its native one rather than a mirror of my main mac screen, and there was an issue where putting the pen on the far right side caused the cursor to shift to the far left side. This may have been because I originally had an Xp-Pen non-pro model connected to this device and the macbook tried to run the pro 16 on that driver. uninstalling and reinstalling the driver works. in terms of it running after getting those issues resolved, it runs exactly the same as it does on Windows. This tablet doesn't have a touch screen and MacOS can't process having a touch screen anyway, so it works out! lemme know if you have other questions!

It's a good stand but it's not perfect. What would make it perfect is if the latch actually goes out further, goes up and comes back like a hook. amzn.to/3zqMzn5 When adjusting this stand, it's best to make sure to hold the pen display and back plate tightly together. You won't want the display to slide off from the front. But once it's set at an angle, it's quite stable.

Hi Teoh ! Planning to buy one. The Huion 19 looks amazing and it have touch + the thinner pen, which I love !Do you know if there is a 16 inch with same specs. Seems like it’s only without touch and pen tech 3. I’m hesitant between a 16pro and 19pro.

As someone who uses a lot of keyboard shortcuts, the touchscreen to me is a nice-to-have but not a must-have. The thing is my non-drawing hand will still be on the keyboard most of the time anyway, ready for any shortcut. 16 Pro (2.5K) provides more value simply because the price point is much lower. But hey, there's now the touchscreen option for people who do prefer the touchscreen.

Hi Teoh! please answer my question simply and I will search for it for more info. What app do you suggest for note taking and pdf editing for an university student in an android tablet? I just want to read and highlight pdfs and make my own notes to summarise and sometimes take notes via my tablet during the class.

I use Nebo (more note taking features) and Concepts (more drawing features). Nebo is good because it runs on Windows, Android, iPad

Does this Huion Camvas with the touch screen work well with the MacOS without issue, or do you recommend another brand like XP Pen?

Teoh, HI, I am vacillating between the Huion Kamvas 22 Plus and the Xpen Artists 22 Plus The price is the same, The Huion does not have a screen "protector" but instead an etched glass., both are laminated. I am having a tough time trying to figure out the differences, or rather which one is better. Any help would be appreciated. TIA!

Kamvas 22 Plus is an easy recommendation. Display quality is one of the best among all pen displays I've reviewed. Main limitation is the 1080P resolution. But otherwise, it's just a really good no-frills pen display.

The Kamvas Pro 19 costs €1.300 where I live (retail price). Why is it so much cheaper in $? Not fair...

Huion products are on sale on Azon every month or so. No point in waiting for prime day. No special sales there. Example: The Huion kamvas pro 16 is on sale for €299. Regular price (crossed out) €399. According to Keepa this pen display has been on the same sale every second month, outside prime day. Literally, one month its €399, the next month its €299, then the next month its €399 again. For the last year or so. Maybe even longer. This applies to all products on Azon. There are always sales. No point in waiting for prime day.

Drawing performance on the Huion Slate is bad. And in contrast to XP Pen with the Magic Drawing Pad, you can't use a Huion professional stylus( like the PW500 or PW600 ) with the Huion Slate.

Hello, i have 250-300 dollars budget max maybe a little higher than that. And i will not draw but edit the AI outputs. i just do not know if i can work with it or not. I let AI do the designs(midjourney) and delete background with some tools. After that there are still some spots to delete. Mouse is not precise and also sometimes make me tired. So i am thinking to buy a graphic tablet with screen or without screen. I will not draw just will erase some spots and maybe some corrections. i am trying to speed up this process. And i am always working on my bed for years while laying down, never sitting down. Will it be useful? Models: 1st i am thinking about huion kamvas 13 if i decide to buy with screen and deco pro medium if i decide without screen. What is your opinions? i am researching this for days and still could not decide. Thanks in advance. P.s. this will be my first device. i never used or see before. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks.

With that budget, you're probably gonna be limited to sizes around 13-inches. And if there's a sale, maybe you can get something at 16-inches. I don't think pen displays are good for use when you're on the bed, since they will be lower and you have to bend your neck all the time. Even on the table, they are already considered low on the table. As for which brand, you can compare prices with xppen, ugee too.
