I love how Arris reinvented himself evolving his channel to be able to keep up with the likes of Comicstorian, ComicsExplained, and DopeSpill. I remember when he use to just do origin stories, him doing commentary and conclusions to vs battles is amazing. Good job OG

Maestro Hulk used to look like such a monstrous genius, the comics made him look like he was the one killed every other hero there was. These last few Hulk comics make him look like a lucky idiot.

I mean, he didn’t win with his browns. He won with his brain. From what I remember of that story, part of what made him so dangerous was that he has Banners intellect.

Not only didn’t he coin the name Maestro but he didn’t do much conquering (let alone the heroes of his time). In addition, he’s not the physical powerhouse most assumed from his introduction back in Future Imperfect, being unable to increase his strength with his anger. Hulk has had Bruce Banner’s brain 🧠 in his existence, so it’s really his ruthlessness that’s the advantage.

@@Men35960 you’re correct in pointing out this is an alternate universe’s Hulk with Banner’s brain, who can’t increase his strength with his anger. He’s also easily disillusioned into ruthlessness (also not like the Hulk we know). However, the only reason you’re used to seeing the Hulk get the better of Hercules is because 616 universe’s Hercules has been underpowered for decades. This one doesn’t seem to have had his strength decreased.

This hulks base strength when calm is like 200-300 tons which is quite impressive and like about 3x stronger than base savage hulk

Hulk's Base Strength: Grey Hulk: 70 tons. Savage Hulk: 90 tons. Professor Hulk: at least 100 tons. WW Hulk: Possibly 200 tons.

@@3912James The Marvel Class System doesn’t mean much. Characters like the Hulk basically have incalculable strength. Far above 200 tons.

Right, I don't know if anyone caught on this, but we all thought that Maestro Hulk killed all the heroes to put their weapons and trinket in the trophy room, since that's what was implied all those years ago. And now we know he just simply took the weapons and trinkets for himself. I absolutely love that tiny reveal

Great mini series. I don't read much Marvel these days but the Hulk's my favorite and I loved Peter David's 90s run so I was all over this. Always wanted to know how Banner became the Maestro. Looking forward to the continuation.

I've been a Hulk fan since I was a kid. I've always been dying to see 2 movies in live action, Planet Hulk and Maestro. But unfortunately Universal will never let that happen.

Got to say the entire character of the maestro hulk is growing on me so much so that after I was done reading issue #5 I read the original future imperfect story and just a few minutes ago subscribed to get maestro war and pax when each issue of that gets released. So until then I will continue to prepare myself for when every episode of WandaVision gets released so I don’t have to wait week after week to see the next episode.

They kind of retconned him a bit. His original origin was the Hulk going crazy from absorbing all the radiation from the fallout instead of being stored up safe and sound. This also made him a lot stronger than base Hulk.

So were those the ACTUAL ghosts of lost Heroes, who stopped by one last time to visit Jones? Or were they just Hallucinations Jones had in his mind to make himself feel better?? Normally, it's easier to choose the latter, but Marvel has shown us some crazy stuff over the years, making this a much harder decision to make

@@carllewis6698 but that's what upsets me about this version of the Hulk - it's like he doesnt have a lot of gamma left to get stronger which is weird because the hulk radiates gamma energy (but I know the nuclear explosion affected him a lot) . I understand where you're coming from I personally just dont enjoy heroes turning into villains
