"Lions & Tigers & Hulks, oh my!" It's just another day as your average scientist infected with a radiation rage monster when David Banner comes across some corrupt Zoo officials who are involved in a diamond-smuggling operation. HULK WANT TO FEED PENGUINS!
From The Incredible Hulk Season 1 Episode 2 'The Beast Within' - While working at a zoo, Banner becomes personally invested when he finds a scientist engaged in genetic research.
The Incredible Hulk (1977 - 1982): Dr. David Banner is a widowed scientist caught in the middle of an experiment gone bad. As a result, whenever Banner gets extremely upset or stressed out, he turns into a huge green monster called the Incredible Hulk, with awesome strength and rage to match.

The "foley guy" for this episode definitely earned their keep. The sound of that rope snapping under the tension was pretty satisfying.

It's cool to see that the Hulk, with all his rage, still possessed much of Dr. Banner's tenderness and compassion toward the innocent and those who meant him no harm.
