I think it's more about how Hulk lost than the fact he didn't win that specific fight. Thanos yeeting Hulk so hard he ends up back on Earth is fine, but Thanos beating Hulk up so badly that he got too scared to come out at all didn't feel right for a lot of people. I had a similar problem with the Hulkbuster fight KO in Age of Ultron, where I didn't entirely hate Hulk losing a bout of fisticuffs as a story device but it still felt weird. I think 2003 Hulk is the stronger Hulk but wasn't put in a situation to prove it.

2003 was the best to me. I also liked the calm moments Hulk enjoyed in the desert. The take on the story that Banner actually enjoys being the hulk on some level was a unique approach. Despite its Comic look the movie also maintained a somewhat melancholic feel due to the actors doing a really good job. The movie definitely has its weak points but to me it had more soul than the others. And while I generally like Norton and also don’t mind Liv Tyler, Bana’s and Connelly‘s performances were much stronger from my perspective. Sam Elliot was cool as always.

@@adrianaleman937 the difference between hulks (savage hulk, professor hulk) is their personality and strength. Professor hulk is strong, yeah, he is still hulk. He is not as strong as savage hulk though, because the Hulks strength across the board is fueled by his anger. Professor hulk can't get angry or he will turn into savage hulk. In comics Hulks personalities come out per what the situation calls for.

I agree, Norton's Hulk was the best and the most impressive and intimidating. Ang Lee's Hulk, although immensely powerful, had somewhat of a baby face, while the Ruffalo version to me looks like just some ugly palooka with big goofy facial features. So yeah.

That Hulk looked horrible. Looked like a video game, cgi was bad.

Yeah actually l do agree the CGI was definitely sub par. But what l mean is l liked the concept of that look the best. Also it's proven to be very difficult to pull of really effective and realistic CGI of the character for some reason.

@@frankberst9849 Thats the point of making Hulk, you have to have good CGI. His muscles were exaggerated too. It felt like i was playing a video game. Also, he looked nothing like the host. In my opinion Mark Ruffalos Hulk is the best one hands down.

Even when he was reverted back to Bruce, the energy was still going as you could see the mushroom cloud become larger and larger until his father was put out of his misery by the military with a gamma bomb comparable to a nuke and it already signifying what this movie was saying, that the hulk has infinite power and it's not going to stop, he even still has it at the end of the movie.

Hulk has manny stages and diferent like evolutions so the hulk that got bigger could of just been a hulk that wasnt fully matured

The thing I struggle with is that it seems avengers strength varies film to film. In avengers 1 nothing could hurt hulk and he could stop that enormous behemoth with one punch. He would throw things miles and just came across ludicrously strong. In age of ultron he seemed a little weaker, the fact that the hulk buster stood a chance is silly really. And in infinity war.. well.. I don’t mind the fact thanos beat him as he is stupidly strong but they made hulk way too weak in my opinion and it should have been more of a battle. Hulk seemed slow and his hits that can one minute stop that 12,000 ton monster, barely moved thanos.

jachob69 It does make sense, I know the MCU is not like the comics, but it does have similar lore. In the comics Thanos's base form was Still much stronger than many of the Avengers especially Hulk and the movie did a decent job at portraying Thanos.
