In today's video, I will explain how to use the most underrated but very powerful trend-following indicator Hull Moving Average to maximize your profit gains.

In general, the major goal of the Hull Moving Average is to eliminate the lag associated with normal moving averages while still ensuring smoothness. The Hull MA is an indicator that tries to give an accurate signal by eliminating lags and improving the smoothness of price activity. The Hull MA can provide more accurate signals if combined with other technical indicators to validate price movement.

I love the hull ma. The settings I use are 52 period and power of 3. I also use the did indexand waddah attar explosion indicator.

Hi, I'm from Venezuela and I'm new to this business. These moving averages seem excellent to me, but if you combine them with a macd they would be brutal. The configuration I got are hull 25 50 and macd moving averages

Hi kristina, i use hull moving average of 5D length of source high/low as support/resistance and it works more greatly than pivot with single support & resistence

Seems like S and R is the main reason. Although you can also use a combination of a 10 and 60 hull crossover that will work on all time frames. Then use a 50 or twenty hull as S and R. Pure magic. That crossover allows you to stay in trades longer where you might have NOPED out. That works best in trending markets though. In horizontal markets use the S and R aspect rather.

I am using twin Hull MAs, on a 10 minute chart. I trade because I have nothing to do, it helps keep my head straight.

I been using the Hull moving about 2 years, for me it is the best indicator for long or short trading, works with any time frame chart try on the 10 minutes chart and will let you know what directions will take the market before opens at 9:30, 9:30- 9:50 I make the most of my profits, add the 5 sma when they cross the direction of the Market it’s going to change, so you get in most of the times on the top or the bottom of the price

I prefer EMA & SMA over Hull since they show you how strong or weak the trend (or range) is. Strong trend and they are further away, ranging and they are going right through the candles. imho

Ema & sma don't show strength, they only show direction. For strength you can look at RSI and/or Stochastic RSI

You are the only person I have seen using hull crossovers for entry and exits like I do. Kudos. However from experience, if the market changes from trending to sideways then that exit crossover can keep you in the trade too long. In this case use a hiekin ashi indicator and exit on the first or second red candle while still using the crossover for entries. I built an automated strategy around this and it does well.
