Hullu yö was a song I needed to get used to. When I first listened to it, I liked the dark and mysterious verses, only to feel completely jarred by the punchier chorus. Over time, I grew to appreciate the entire song as a unit; I think the choppy orchestration made the two parts not click. Either way, this deserved more than the 20th place it ultimately got. P.S. What's with that choreography? It would fit with the 100% televote era, though.

A beautiful, emotional pop song that the RAI orchestra did absolutely no favors that night. I love it, though, and it deserved better than a paltry 20th place. Germany's awful song scored higher than this, for crying out loud.
