Hulu Live is the second most popular live TV streaming service, behind KZfaq TV. And, it’s a sutiable alternative for people looking for a cable-like service without the contract.
It has roughly 90 popular cable channels, and includes Disney+ and ESPN+ in plans. For some, it represents a good value for the money.
However, at a starting price of $76.99 a month, it comes at a steep cost. Furthermore, if you only want a few channels you may find it’s possible to avoid the platform to save even more money.

What I like about Hulu + Live TV is the Unlimited DVR because you can record like a million movies and tv show episodes and it won't affect you or anyone in your household

Boy, you 2 are goooood... Thanks! Liked - Subscribed. Still figuring all this stuff out, now cutting the cord, but with a less smarter tv and Tivo. Will check out your KZfaq TV video!

Hulu live having disney+ included is cool but i perfer KZfaqTV

Agreed, it is a nice value add but YT TV still wins out, in our opinion, for most.

When it comes to cable tv replacement with ease, which I believe is the number one objective to satisfy one or both spouses who are being obstinate about the change, it's all about content. H-live is the winner for content. If you're a New Yorker and need SNY for the Mets there's no other choice. The big two are YTTV and H-Live. I believe the user experience and features are just not in first position. It's all about content and which covers your needs. H-live covers more. User experience and working the apps can be dealt with. When it comes to streaming, it's content, content, content. Everything else can be handled.

That's definitely fair. However, in our opinion, value and what is most important is going to be a subjective issue in many instances. The content can be great, but if the UI or other features don't stack up, it can easily lead to frustration. Short story long, you've got to go with what's most important to you. 🙂

@@FrugalRules agreed. But I'm suggesting that for a lot of people going to streaming, it's not that the content needs to be great. It needs to most fully include the networks they must still have when giving up cable TV. That's the priority imo. H-live edges out yttv in this respect. It includes a few key networks that yttv doesn't. So I guess I should say what matters most is networks, networks, networks lol. Features don't matter if you don't get tlc, lifetime, etc, in the first place if you want them. H-live won for us by a mere four networks.

@@dfizzbom Yep, channels are definitely important for many. However, we hear from a lot of viewers how important features are to them. It's equal to, if not greater, than those focused on the right channels/content. To each their own, I guess. 🙂

Hulu sucks I've had so much trouble with it loading either through my TV or a Roku stick so frustrating goodbye to Hulu hello to KZfaq TV

When I originally switched to streaming I subscribed to Hulu with live tv, but I switched to KZfaq tv because I liked the UI so much better, and I felt that they had a better channel lineup than Hulu. Now there isn't much difference in their channel lineups since Hulu has added several channels; Fox Weather, The Weather Channel, Comet tv, Cheddar and PBS being the main ones that I care about. I never use basic Hulu, and I get Disney Plus once or maybe twice a year, so KZfaq tv winds up being the cheapest choice for me, since I would have to get the higher Hulu package without adds ( I hate adds) for $89.99 versus $72.99 for KZfaq tv. Both have gone sky high in price since I switched, but KZfaq tv is still the best price fir me.

Agreed, the channel lineup is roughly similar. Like you said though, the UI is so much cleaner & more robust with YT TV. Hulu Live does offer a relatively decent value, but only if you legitimately use the add-ons they offer. If not, and you want a true cable replacement, YT TV is going to be the better choice for most.

Reason hulu tv is worth it if you have kids hulu tv I can use for TV an Disney for the kids

My issue with Hulu Live is that they dont have Marquee Sports Network to watch Chicago Cubs Games

It would be nice to see that. Unfortunately, it's likely adding channels like that would only result in a price hike.

KZfaq Tv recording interface is much better than Hulu Live and Sling. To me only Fubo’s dvr interface is comparable to KZfaq Tv now that Fubo just added unlimited dvr recordings 😀

Agreed, it's nice that Fubo finally came around to the times of upgrading its DVR to be unlimited. If we were looking strictly at the interface of the DVR, it would come down to YT TV or Fubo for us.
