I spent a majority of my youth pretending to be someone I wasn’t. I wanted so desperately to be cool, to be noticed, to be liked..I didn’t like who was staring back at me in the MIRROR. I LIED to sound interesting, I LIED to appear funny, I LIED to get anyone to notice me. I wanted GIRLS to notice me...I was constantly chasing that relationship with ANYONE.. Since 2nd grade, constantly seeking the opposite sex. In 6th grade, I began to think about sex..alot I began to “self satisfy” any chance I got. Looking back at the habits I developed in that mindset...it makes me hang my head in shame. My Grandparents divorced, my parents divorced..it only made sense I was seeking that “intimacy”...any intimacy would do the job.. Habits I developed in my youth, overflowed and poured over into my Adulthood..almost cost me my marriage, my relationship with my children..it almost cost me my LIFE.. 🩸🩸🩸🕊🕊🕊 I don’t write this, in search of pity.. I don’t share this, to tell you a story.. YOU ARE READING THIS RIGHT HERE AND NOW IN THIS MOMENT, because YOU made a choice, to watch this video and scroll through the comments, like you have always done. But this time is different, because THIS is the moment someone brought you the good word 🙏🏽 That there is a God that sits on high, and he is waiting for you. He is waiting for you to lift up the past you’ve let drive your present, up to him! He is waiting for you to pull away from the habitual sin you have been living in! Legit one day I thought about taking my own life using drugs had no hope i wasn’t hearing God anymore and my life became useless and even tho I was surrounded with people that loved me I still felt alone. I accidentally stumbled across HULVEY and God spoke to me THROUGH HIM and his music has been such a gift FROM GOD!!! All GLORY TO THE KING OF KINGS THANK YOU JESUS!

God is in control of everything we go through,I used worry so much thayi don't have a job to do seeing my fellow friend having it in life, but the spirit of God tought me that everything happens because God want it to happen and he has a reason why it has happened, I was leaving a poor life in Uganda, where I learnt to smoke and drink alcohol, I thank God that I got bapitised and now am free from them, I thank God who protected me from suicidal thoughts and depression, I thank God that I moved to Rwanda, I have time to go to church and read the Bible every day, God is really great so great, guys everywhere don't loose hope Jesus is seeing and knows when things are going to go your way, believe in him, he saves, thank you Lord 🙏

I grew up without a Father. I believe the father wanted me to hear this message I too have a husband serving (not overseas) I have been feeling so defeated and so heavy burden with a situation here at home feeling like I was dealing with it on my own. The amazing ladies at my fellowship laid hands and prayed for me last night, this morning I wake up see this video and decide to watch thank you for the reminder that our father will make good whatever the situation is if we just allow him.

I spent a majority of my youth pretending to be someone I wasn’t. I wanted so desperately to be cool, to be noticed, to be liked..I didn’t like who was staring back at me in the MIRROR. I LIED to sound interesting, I LIED to appear funny, I LIED to get anyone to notice me. I wanted GIRLS to notice me...I was constantly chasing that relationship with ANYONE.. Since 2nd grade, constantly seeking the opposite sex. In 6th grade, I began to think about sex..alot I began to “self satisfy” any chance I got. Looking back at the habits I developed in that mindset...it makes me hang my head in shame. My Grandparents divorced, my parents divorced..it only made sense I was seeking that “intimacy”...any intimacy would do the job.. Habits I developed in my youth, overflowed and poured over into my Adulthood..almost cost me my marriage, my relationship with my children..it almost cost me my LIFE.. 🩸🩸🩸🕊🕊🕊 I don’t write this, in search of pity.. I don’t share this, to tell you a story.. YOU ARE READING THIS RIGHT HERE AND NOW IN THIS MOMENT, because YOU made a choice, to watch this video and scroll through the comments, like you have always done. But this time is different, because THIS is the moment someone brought you the good word 🙏🏽 That there is a God that sits on high, and he is waiting for you. He is waiting for you to lift up the past you’ve let drive your present, up to him! He is waiting for you to pull away from the habitual sin you have been living in! I just discovered Hulvey like a month ago and it’s helped me through a lot. I was never really a big fan of music. One day I got on Spotify and searched for fire Christian Rap and on that playlist was some of hulveys songs. Ever since I hear them I listened to a bunch of your songs. Reasons has been stuck in my head ever since I heard it. I don’t why but recently it has been a very hard time for me and your music has helped me a lot. I just wanted to thank you for being an awesome music artists, and my favorite.
