Nods really are a language all their own. Everything from direction, speed, angle, number of nods, and any additional minuature flourishes can change the meaning. Combine it with various facial expression or changes of expressions and the number of meanings and the information conveyed increases exponentially. Add overall body language and you can have entire silent conversations. "Hello, friend." "Hello, friend, it's good to see you." "Hello, friend, something unfortunate has happened and I'm sad." "I acknowledge your presence but wish for you to not speak to me." "Wanna fuck?" "Wanna fuck?~" "Wanna fight?" "Wanna fight, punk?" "I feel not a single molecule of respect for you and wish for you to be thoroughly informed of that fact." "I believe you are insane and will back away slowly as to not trigger a potentially violent reaction from you." "You are an idiot."

German Engineers are the horsemen of the apocalypse even to other engineers.. their 'toys' always work perfectly, but they break easily and no one, besides another german engineer, knows how to fix the damn thing.
