The difference between humans playing nice and humans dropping everything else for war can make us seem like a totally different species. I'm surprised we haven't genetically engineered those allergies out someone must have decided they're useful.

Ironically we're figuring out why we have allergies (it's mostly a 1st world issue). We are actually too clean and don't come into contact with parasites which we evolved with so our systems are naturally on high alert 24/7 and end up spazzing out and thinking random things are hostile thus over reacting and causing us harm instead. Parasites naturally release chemicals to suppress our immune system as to stay with us, so without them... well allergies.

That second story is silly! But, I liked it. I had just finished a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before listening to that story and imagined my reaction to a “poisoned” pb & j sandwich which I’ve been eating for a good 65 years or so. Some things you never outgrow. 😊

Thanks for the laughs from 2 good stories, especially the second one!😄 I'm a nut butter aholic. If I don't have nuts or nut butter at least once a day I'll go into withdrawals. I have even made my own nut butter in a blender. Back in the late 80s there was a peanut shortage, leading to a peanut butter shortage. I ran out of peanut butter, and couldn't get more for a while. I had shelled sunflower seeds on hand, so I made sunflower butter. I know some people can't handle peanut butter, but I'm okay with it.🥜🌰

It's not the first 5 lines or sentences that're the most important, it's the first page and/or first chapter that is, if you judge something from the first line of information, before you've read the full report, you've read nothing. "This creature is a normally a peaceful herbivor" "Oh good, that means that I can just walk over to it and touch it" "Unless approached, then it will more offen than not feel threaten and charge at the percived threat and since it weighs at least 700kg the impact is mostly fatal, and since it will stomp on a threat that lies on the ground THAT *WILL* be fatal, so don't be an idiot and keep your distance" THAT is what I call part of natural selection.

Hah, I love the story about the peanut butter, and its tendency to cause allergic reactions! I could sweets made using the stuff as being considered by other races as an addictive drug, especially mixed with chocolate (which, to be fair, isn't too far off)!

When I first saw this title I had just finished a fuckton of WWII history research focusing mainly on the Nazis and just HOW evil they are for absolutely no fucking reason (I was bored, go fuck yourself) and I see this title... I have never been so quick to jump out of a chair so fucking quickly in my life 🤣🤣😂😆😅😅😅 For those of you wondering the research mainly consisted of the movie Conspiracy (2001), the movie Schindler's List, and a bunch of videos on historical firearms and tactics. P.S Incase the uploader changes the title in the future, the title as of writing this comment was "The Final Solution"

Having studied early 20th century history for school, work, and curiosity, it gets so much worse than what is ever shown on screen by Hollywood. It's difficult for the human mind to understand just how many people lost their lives. For people, the tragedy of loosing a loved one is hard. The largest number of people a person can reliably know the name of is roughly 100. The death of 100 people would be the death of everyone you know the name of or easily recognize. More than that becomes an abstract number, a statistic. To me the biggest horror aspect of it all isn't the number killed, but the way they were killed. The Nazi party took the concept of genocide and used industrial principles to exterminate people and recycle their belongings. They made murder as efficient as possible to kill the greatest number of people both quickly and with minimal resource expenditure. Assembly line murder. That's what horrifies me.
