Күн бұрынEarth is gone. Authorized by DOLOS AEC, the Tiqqun space station represents humanity's best hope for survival amongst the stars. As administrator, it's my responsibility to ensure the survival of the last vestiges of humanity and find them a new home. But with the station falling apart, social unrest sweeping the crew, and unfamiliar phenomena threatening the ship... that might just be a tall order.

I know right I really rolled my eyes at that. Typical sci fi edgelordy storytelling. Could have done the jump from Mars or whatever. But we just HAD to destroy the earth because humanity bad.

@@kevinviriyat5134 Then just change the math! That doesn't make any sense. A slight difference in origin point shouldn't make a difference! Just account for it in the numbers. What if humans had evolved on mars? Would we be unable to use ftl just because our position in space changed a little? Is earth's orbit the only place in the universe where ftl is possible. I'm sorry but it's neither good science nor good writing. It's just we wanna make things grimdark so this is what happens. It's bad writing.

@@ramezhachicho1777 it's not ftl, it's a prototype of ftl i assume, thus doing it on mars can make the ship ended up in another solar system without comms. And there might be a chance that the DOLOS engine will broke if you jump to far solar system right away without jumping to the nearest solar system.

ah, seeing pravus optimizing this is gonna be great. i admit, for me it is way to hard because of dumb stuff like the crew consisting of bumbling buffoons and wrecking the place every 5 minutes or (SPOILER!) the crew wanting to leave the system because dead earth makes them sad but then leaving makes them sad again because they wont be able to see the solar system again... wtf

It took me around 47 hours, 42 saves, and a lot of doubt and frame issues to complete this game But I did it! On the first playthrough thanks to the saves I have but one thing to say.. **I will lynch anyone who doesn't save the doggo.**

Wow after the last video about it i was so hyped for a series and was so amazed by the game. i just couldnt wait and bought it half an hour after watching the video. Now im almost through the game, but im still happy for those that could hold themselves back! :D Anyways, thanks Pravus for showing us this gem.

To all the people who have a problem with the difficulty in the game an interesting cheese strategy is staying in the prologue for hundreds of cycles after you stabilize housing and food for tiqqun with the Tech lab unlocked and built. you will passively generate 1 science every 30 cycles, but you are fully self-sufficient and have you don't have a degrading hull yet. so, using said science you can unlock tons of research topics and when given the option to get science in events you can disregard it as a resource in favor of other stuff. the only thing stopping you is feeling like you are exploiting the game (and boredom i suppose but 3 times speed is pretty good).

This is a really fun one, making the wrong decisions like exhausting a resource can get you stuck in limbo, and there are multiple ways to fail that way

A big part of this game is that you can and will screw up so remember to save often because mistakes can be quite punishing Also, 1 cycle = 1 day, and you get a new year's celebration every 365 days

It does seem nice that there is a very low stakes prologue where you can set yourself up for success, or at least a solid foundation. Sure, there are limitations so that you can't, say, upgrade your ship to mid game levels before there's any threat, but if you take your time you at least keep yourself from being on the backfoot once the danger starts. Likely comes as a slap in the face for those who "hate tutorials" and try to skip to the "real game" as soon as possible. A part of me wonders if it's at least partially intentional to work that way for "screw the tutorial" people. I wonder if that secret project you find in the prologue becomes very relevant later in the game?

I'm going to speculate about the engine because the effect on the moon was rather curious. If the cinematic is to be believed, the engine rips a hole in spacetime. That's not exactly a fun prospect if that hole is particularly nasty. I suspect gravimetric forces created at triggering gouged a large amount of material from the moon. The VOHLE engine was probably wiser to be used outside of the moon, maybe at the Sun-Earth Lagrange point. Side tangent: Cowboy Bebop's gate system incident near the moon? That gate had similar effects. Hyperspace is not to be taken lightly.

Interesting. It looks like a playable version of a science fiction book series-- the premise with the jump, at least, is almost identical. If it turns out the CEO was being guided by an alien AI , then it'll be even more spot-on.

İ read a lot about game in reddit/steam everybody tells it is too hard. Since I get second room, it became a lot for me... I cannot imagine with 4-5 th rooms opened. A lot lot lots of micromanagement there(specialization of rooms like industry, space , farm like) so i am eager to see you play the game right way with most efficient way. Thank you playing the game pravus. BTW hope little pravus is OK, it should be 4 month old now. So it is a girl or boi ^^

@Pravus on how long a Triggun evolution is at day 365 you get people yelling happy new year, with whistles and cheering, so i'd assume that 1 cycle = 1 day at mars prologue, if you give them polymers you'll get research which helps at the start ;)

Hey Pravus i have a question, you ended the prologue with a 199 population so how did you start the first chapter with 198 ? just wondering is all also i am so happy you decided to play this again :D

i noticed this as i was playing, and i think it's the people you have on your spaceships. If a person is piloting a ship and is away from the station, then they don't count towards the population.

It seems like placement of the "exterior" buildings is critical. I think the ground could use some indicators how much clearance they need.

Ixion is a dwarf Planet located at the Kuiper belt next to Pluto and Orus a Ather Dwarf Planet at the Kuiper belt the orbit of it is Interesting as Going from top to bottom goes its orbit and for some reason its now a game lol

for how long a cycle is: the (I persume) lunch break, known as meal cycle, is probably 30 min long because the average lunch break duration is 35 min and i think they would round that down to Multiples of 10, so 30 min

I'm so excited for this series, a proper challenge for Pravus. Fun fact I recently learned: the ship that carried the crew to the Tiqqun station is called Charon. Charon was the ferryman of Hades, the Greek underworld, who carried the souls of those who have been given funeral rites across the rivers Acheron and Styx, which separate the worlds of the living and the dead. Ominous much???

so glad you picked this up. ive recently finished it myself, and sadly, once the midgame starts, it got really really easy. the start is brutal, but everything afterwards is smooth sailing. why: my personal gameplay reccomendation: there are upgrades for your housing which makes them produce waste, which you can then recycle. this system is (imo) completely overpowered.

In the prologue, I do everything before placing down a mess hall. Why? because people don't need to eat before fulfilling the objective and I save my food
