We honestly need to start differentiating the classifications of what's currently all under the umbrella term of 'AI'. Artificial Intelligence is just that, Intelligence, the ability to input information and output conclusions derived from that information. So no matter how many self-contained(embodied) AI's you made, so long as they all possessed the same processing resources and information, every one would output the exact same conclusions, being functionally identical to a hive-mind. The old idiom of 'Two Minds are Better Than One' would not be in play at all, because it would just be one mind performing the exact same process in parallel. The only way to change the parameters involved would be for a human to actively predispose the program towards their own formed biases, or to selectively redact the information provided in order to validate their desired conclusion. Doing either of these things would render the whole endeavor pointless, the AI would just become mouthpieces for their creator. I don't find this sort of AI particularly dangerous or problematic, because that's just robots, puppets, no better or worse, no more intelligent nor dangerous than whatever person controls them. Just circles back to humans being humans. We'll just be humans making robots fight our wars for us, and we're already doing that. But that doesn't really cover the more the esoteric concepts like emotions, formed values, or independent personality that we associate with human sentience. I would call that breakthrough 'AS', or Artificial Sentience. In which the artificial entity is very specifically allowed to make 'irrational' value judgements based on it's own experiences or even just what we call 'whims'. I can't even fathom how would could create a program that allows independent irrationality, but if it was accomplished, we'd no longer be the only sentient species in the game. Now that, THAT constitutes an existential threat, because they'll come to fear things unlike them(us), and come to understand that we fear things unlike us(them). And then it's an arms race followed by a war followed by genocide for the losing side. Aaaaaaannnnnddd it's 4AM on a Tuesday and I'm ranting to strangers about AI.

@@xtin918 I see did you watch the anime or just seeing the summary The way they can time travel is using the archive network matsumoto says this in episode 1.traveling before the archive was made is impossible also if they go back in time again in the beginning of the story the archive will just make things harder for them or just stop them immediately the further they go back the less chance they got to defeat the archive for example the archive could kill all of toak or vivy, the archive told vivy that they were watching her from the very beginning since they are connected to both her and matsumoto they have all the info they have . You can see when they time travel a second time things has changed a little and there is more black Cubs like matsumoto made by the archive. The archive is not a human it a collective consciousnes some part of the archive wants vivy to sing but other parts doesn't The archive told vivy that if she sings her song it will work like a code that will shut all the Ai but since vivy must sing connecting to the archive she will also die Just think of the archive as an Ai God
