I love the NLT so I’m really happy Humble Lamb is doing that. I don’t agree that it’s for people with a lower reading level. It’s for everyone who likes to read the way we speak today. Next I would like to see Humble lamb do the CSB. I have the other Humble Lamb translations. Love them all.

Got this NLT email from them yesterday. Can’t wait to see this. Hoping for a single column like the nkjv shepherd.

Would love to see them do the Berean Standard Bible (BSB) and or WEB since they’re public domain. But I’d say the other translation they bring for now, along with the NLT which I’m excited for, is the ESV.

I’m excited to see what they do with this! I have to admit not being a fan of the NASB 2020, so having an NLT from them should be amazing! If anyone brings back the HCSB, I am all over that!

I would love to see Humble Lamb come out with a CSB version. That's the version my Sunday School class uses. I most likely wouldn't be able to afford it, but that would be my choice. They could call it something like the CSB Trinity.

I'm excited about this. I just started using the NLT last year. I've always been an NKJV girl but have been looking at other translations. I like the logo & I'm hoping it won't be a compact version. I like verse by verse, but it will be exciting to see what they do. I have their blue NKJV Shepherd Bible which is nice.

Wife says NLT and others are great for people who read at a lower reading level. Our friends have a son who's 18 but reads at a 5th grade level due to dyslexia. She plans to get him a NLT and hopefully get him and the family back to church! Thanks for the exciting news. She says Humble Lamb will be her first premium Bible whenever she can save up! Right now she's enjoying the CSB and an old Catholic Bible she got for free, the Confraternity Version.

Super pumped about it! I love the NKJV and the KJV but it would be nice to own a NLT for the days I struggle with reading the Bible. I think we all have experienced this. Some days there's so much going on that an easier reading Bible would be welcomed. I'm a widow, a mom, and I work at my church. Sometimes I'm tired and it would be refreshing to read a different and more modern English Bible.

Hearing the NLT audio of the OT in You Version is a guilty pleasure. I purchased a personal size large print indexed in genuine leather (dark olive green). For me, it doesn’t have to be any more premium than that. It will last a long time.

A Hunble Lamb CSB would be great! And a NASB ‘95 as well. I think the perfect size in a Bible for me is found in the Thomas Nelson Premier Collection Single Column Reference Bible, with the 10.5 font and 36gsm paper. If I could have Humble Lamb add their flair to the NASB ‘95 and the CSB in that format, I’d be all in, Lord willing!!

I won't even know what the WED and ASV are. The RSV or ESV would be my picks. What I'd really like is a single column RSV with older woodcut illustrations than the Gustav Dore they've been using, which would never happen and is why I'm making one for myself from a Schuyler Treveris, printouts and glue.

My top three (in order) would be the WEB, BSB/MSB, and LEB. I get that the last one is a total pipe dream because it is exclusive to Logos, but I love the translation. The WEB and BSB/MSB are great translations, but have no premium options (the MSB has none!). I'd love to see them grow in popularity

Daniel and his team do a wonderful job on their Bibles. I have the KJV Shepherd and it's my only premium Bible. I'm praying about where it will find itself upon my demise since I am 75 years old with no children. God has always let me know when and where to gift someone, so I know He will direct me. I treasure all of my Bibles and every translation I own. However, I write in them all as well as take notes. My Humble Lamb is the only "clean" Bible, and it remains in it's box on my bookshelf. :)

I’m happy to have the NLT, it is one of my favorites. I’m reading the ESV currently and was really hoping it would be ESV!

Would be interesting if they got the ability to also make it a Filament enabled Bible through Tyndale. Imagine a premium Humble Lamb with all the app perks of Filament. That would be an amazing combination.

I use the NLT Caxton. It’s a perfect size font and the paper is just fine for it.

I would love to see an MEV. I wish somebody would do something with this translation. I know it would have a smaller market, but it would be awesome.

I would love to see a Humble Lamb REB due to its literary qualities. But I think that the ESV is the most likely new translation.

Two I’d like to see. (1) bring back the 1984 NIV, the classic translation. Old School Folks would go hog wild for that one. Also, (2)how about a translation that includes the apocrypha? KJV, RSV, ESV, even the NLT have them. Lamb should do a special edition to test the demand. Jesus on!

The WEB and bible hubs BSB would be good options. Maybe even bible hubs majority translation MSB would be a good. All 3 are free domain.

TBH Hunble Lamb NLT is my dream bible. Ever since we got the Shepard NKJV I always thought NLT should be a translation they should do.

NLT(catholic edition) with words of christ in blue. Just footnotes & References. This is what would be nice for Humble Lamb to produce in this as an option.

NLT is a good decision; next, maybe the REB - it's pretty good too, or make a deal with The Message and clean it up a bit. I've not seen premium versions of it. Might need to make it a translation though. But the NLT I will buy. And what about the MEV? I think it is from the majority text.

Good. I love those older translations too. BUT! I think Humble Lamb knows they have to sell Bibles to modern readers to grow their business. NLT is a good move as it's consistently near the top of Bible sales lists. NIV should be next because those are also a bit difficult to find in premium.

I just paid several hundred dollars for the Caxton and if the new HL is single column I’ll buy this one too.

I'd say that the MEV 2nd Edition would be a fine option...if Charisma House were willing to license it out. Problem is that they're kinda strict about sharing the MEV with other publishers (while still taking their time releasing it themselves).

I really wish they didn’t make so many jumps in the NLT. Taking one of Jesus I AM statements meant to show His divinity and supplying words to say “I am the messiah”

It’s too bad RL Allan stopped publishing the NLT. I assume it ran into licensing issues with the NKJV and maybe that is the issue with NLT. Or maybe there are issues licensing somebody’s NLT text block as, unlike Schuyler, RL Allan doesn’t make its own.

Nah, its probably gonna keep the error in matthew 5 in reference to the “an eye for an eye” passage of the Old Testament. Jesus explicitly states, “You have heard it said,” rather than, “You heard that it was written,” displaying the fact that He was dealing with an interpretation of personal vengeance, and was not contradicting the scriptures which were meant for legal judgements. The NLT has it say that that they “heard that it was said in the Law of Moses”, causing Jesus to contradict a passage that He never did, nor intended to do.

Hey Tim, I sent a message in your comment section in one of your videos about the NLT illustrated study Bible with symith sewn binding. Were you able to see it?

I enjoy the NLT translation and use it sometimes when I teach youths at church. I just wish Tyndale would up their game on NLT bibles. Their genuine leather bibles are overpriced and not the greatest construction wise. Although I give them some credit for finally joining the modern bible world of sewn binding, lol. Way late to that party but better late than never I guess. Yeah, you can tell I have had issues with my nlt purchases in the past.

I hope they don’t do drop caps. I just don’t like them. I like the capital letters starting a chapter like what Schuyler does. Otherwise just regular text would be cool. Their fore-edge is awesome. So cool. Double column would be nice.

There are a lot of reasons why I do not like Humble Lamb bibles after buying one once. They are trying too hard but sadly still have not worked out how to build a classy bible.
