Thank you, Fr. Spyridon for this book. I recently received it and read it. I have had a peripheral interest following these stories for a long time and I have even been to the Roswell Museum. However, the recent media coverage and disclosures feel inexplicably odd, like they are complicit in manipulation. For this reason, I lost most interest, but Fr. Spyridon's book caught my attention. This book provides a nice structure around that concern. I think the book begins with a layout of accepted fact, and then provides a logical explanation that fits the facts. The multiple agenda proposition is helpful to understand some of the apparent contradiction. I do enjoy some scifi, but Fr. Spyridon's concerns have merit. In particular contemporary scifi. It is quite notable that many scifi movies can easily accept the most bizarre pseudo-scientific propositions but utterly reject the spiritual domain, which is continually manifest in our daily experience of the world. And as pointed out in the book, the multiverse concept is often used to train minds not to look spiritually at unexplained phenomena. This is quite obvious these days. Thank you again.

@9:30 I did. I snatched up everything Jesus Christ gave me and held so tightly. I took up His ways and love as He loves me. Even though I can never stack up, my journey is more important than my life experiences. I have become complacent with myself, putting others' needs before my own, as I was taught. Taught by God...is the best way I can explain it, honestly. I can't reason for why God has chosen me, for I cannot find the value in me that God sees, but I trust in God's opinion over my own so... I sought to be humble in my ways, but it was Christ that instilled it in me. God knows what I do not, in reference to me, and knows the best scenario for me especially since I am blind to the future. Brother, this saint stuff is... challenging, and always has been. It seems like I'm losing my reality and have left the world beyond it's barriers...an astronaut afloat in empty space. I cry to God and search the Bible and listen to the voice of God..., but IT says I'm on the correct path. I do things by God alone now, and it just seems so distant from everything outside of my mind. God bless you and keep you in all God's ways. I'm almost certain you too have contemplated the very same. The Holy Spirit guides us, brother. I love you as I am loved by God... probably more that I understand, so take care of yourself. We could REALLY use the help and aren't quite ready to let you go, dearest family. You are a wonderful representative of the Saint you were named after. I hope I represent Joshua Son of Nunn rightly as well.

I love how the Orthodox sees sin as sickness because that is exactly what it is. Ephesians 6 the full Armour of God. Jesus tells us to turn the other cheek. Pride goes before the fall. I endured sexual molestation in my childhood. However, it made me bitter, hurtful and anger. I walked away from Jesus, but I came back many times and Jesus forgave me every time. I see myself as one of those sheep always wandering toward the edge. I have spent time with Jesus in the garden of Geethamani when I suffered as a child so fearful and afraid. I hope that counts for something.

I feel as though, currently, I am going through a cycle of sin. Each time I give into my temptations, I am humbled the next day, and I return to Christ. However, as the days pass, I sense my pride overtakes my mind, and I become quick to let go of the hand of God. Once my mind is healed, or at least thinks it is, I am so quick to run on my own, and make my own decisions. I let my guard down, and the sin and temptation make their attacks on me. You've opened my eyes to the problem. I mustn't let go of his hand, I must continue acting like that small child, lost and unaware of the dangers that lie ahead, but at the same time protected by the grace and mercy of God.

@@GodsHerosGodsHeros Re-baptizing is not universal custom in the Orthodox Church, at least not where I live.
