Always remove the fill plug on anything like this first. That way if you have any problems getting it out you haven't drained it already.

that's a great idea, i like it. I do the same thing with CVs and try to loosen the big center hub nut first because if it's not coming off, nothing else is. thanks for the tip ! appreciate it
