Starring Jason Statham (Parker, Safe, Killer Elite, The Expendables, Crank, Bank Job, Transporter), with BAFTA award winner Vicky McClure, Agata Buzek and Benedict Wong (Prometheus), Hummingbird marks the directorial debut of Oscar® nominated screenwriter Steven Knight (Eastern Promises, Dirty Pretty Things), from his own original screenplay.
Living homeless after going on the run from a military court-martial, Joey Jones (Statham) is a damaged ex-special forces soldier trapped in London's criminal underworld. But when opportunity enables him to assume another man's identity, he is transformed into an avenging angel.

IMO, Hummingbird is for Statham the equivalent of Copland for Stallone. We can enjoy them acting at their best.

I love all of his movies! I think he is an outstanding actor. I would love to meet him. LOL I am sure that only happens in dreams thou. Great job Mr. Statham❤

Jump to 9 years later, i know this was one of his quite unusual unique work which i appreciate But my top favorite of his would be ' Wrath of Man' 2021 directed by Guy Ritchie. Really love that movie and had different experience. Overall loved almost All his movies, he hardly make bad movies to be honest. Even the shark movie ' The Meg' i really enjoyed too. Love Jason💜

Fun fact! In the scenes with Cristina (nun) she has a wedding ring on her finger, pretty big mistake 😂 The movie amazing! And polish actress play in it. So proud 😁

No mistake! Nuns do actually wear wedding rings, to symbolize their “marriage” or fidelity to the Church.

That's not a wedding ring, it's silver and there's Hail Mary on it in form of grooves on ring and the number of grooves matches the number of Hail Marys you suppose to prey. It's still quite common in Poland.

Hello from Macedonia , great movie , but only thing I don't understand is what the hands meant when Jason Statham entered the warehouse and only the palms of his hands came out and he touched one of them??? I can't understand and I have already seen this movie about 15 times because I went through similar things in 2001
