Supposedly this game doesn't feature students killings their allies.. But what if... They are? And this girl is the main proof... So surei goes around and collects this highschoolers, give them powers and reclutes them into his academy... The last defense academy... But.. Why only these ones?.. Because we know that the girl is alive... How do we know this?. In one or the trailers there's an action RPG scene in front of the same bridge seen in the beginning cinematic... The girl is on the floor and this seems to be the tutorial on how use the powers... But the girl has a health bar, she haves 3HP.. She is alive... But why only see surei take the protagonist to his academy, why? Why not take her as well? Give her powers and do it... But what if he did? We always had the funny cartoon character being an secondary filler character.. Even monokuma is tossed aside to let junko and tsumugi take the spotlight... But what if.. This time.. The mascot character, is actually the main villain.. And no one else?.. Sureri did pick up that girl.. But he put her in the last attack academy on something like that? He tricks them into putting mask to supposedly hide from. The monsters and their mission is to attack the last defense academy becuse "they are the one responsible for the monster invasion" "if you get rid of the bad guys this whole things can end!" and this girl is alive, just in another academy... Her classmates are getting killed by the other school.. Who also seen them as the villains... Two set of survivors of humanity killing each other.. Believing each other is the bad guy.. The final boss is going to be either that girl (for bad ending) or surei (for good ending)

@@Dychb.w2 idk if this is true but the Wiki for DR states to enter hopes peak you have to be a minimum of 16 years. Also major spoilers for Danganronpa: Junko says she erased 2 years of everyone's memories so maybe the DR cast in Danganronpa THH are all 18 at least physically, but mentally they are still minors except Yasuhiro I think

Because certain fans are unable to accept the fact that creatives move on and want to do other things. They're just looking for a game they can call Danganronpa 4 because all they care about is consumption of the thing they hyperfixate on.

I don’t think people are saying they’re connected. I just think people are expecting that they follow a similar narrative to Danganronpa. Rain Code, I can agree. But for this game, it’s pretty obvious-16 students trapped in a school, a silly mascot, the world outside gone to shit. Classic Danganronpa.

That can be possible. Comments that the mascot is kinda shifty made me wonder if there is also a 'controlled chaos' and 'war is folly' theme that could also appear in the game.

That means the protagonist will die by different reasons methods Maybe we see puzzle elements in this game

Well the steam page says that.. "there's 100 different different endings full of despair" so.... Yeah... Probably is would be easy to get different endings and different people living or dying depending of your actions.. That why we would say tokio games was crazy.. Like... 100 different endings? Obtaining different information each time?... That's probably why they hired more writers for this game.. They have RI written different intersctions.. Endings, changes.. Outcomes for all this changes in what the protagonist do or doesn't do.. What characters they save and who not.. And also the quantity of endings that might had been cut for the final game... (I imagine if this different endings theory is correct.. There's gonna be one, AT LEAST ONE, that is going to be a reference to the infamous bad ending of trigger happy havoc)

I think the blue haired girl might be a boy. Apart from having no bust, their uniform looks a lot like a male version of the one that the pink haired girl who just mentioned having a brother is wearing.

Actually... Now that I think about it.... What if.... Yes, is exactly as you said.. It would be interesting if this game used the mechanics of beta danganrompa, distrust.. But that game wasn't only just operated by decisions.. But also by the mechanic that is in the title, distrust... Depending on what character trusted you more or less determined what would happen in the story... So... What if.. What determines the game is... The free time events? Normally just an extra feature to learn more about the characters... Now the main core of this gameplay.. That would be epic

Is confirm is not related to danganronpa.. Kodaka doesn't wanna do more of the story for now... But yeah.. I do agree with the rest of things.. Who know... Maybe the sky being fake it means that the characters and all civilization there always lived in the same place.. Never questioning why the sky was the way it was... Maybe.. Those monster were always there.. For generations.. Just that each city had one of those protecting domes.. So.. Normal people could live their normal life while the government tried to fight against this creatures.. For one reason or the other they failed.. And the game starts

@everythingz888 that isn't an Easter egg, though. That's just how games with multiple routes work. Distrust was a game with multiple routes, and what was going go make it different was the trust/distrust system that influenced the trials and routes, so unless this will have that, and that's the secret system that would be a spoiler, then it isn't an Easter egg.

It wouldn't be a call back to that.. It for him it might feel to do what he wanted to do for that proyect as well... Only that this time.. He isn't limited by another company, by time.. By the console.. He can fully come to fruition to that idea of different routes and endings and survivors

@@micah459 we’ve already had fat byakuya, short ryomas and teruterus, slender body like korekiyo, buff muscles, curvy etc As for the face this has really always been like this for the danganronpa style, the hair could be different but I think they’re unique enough compared to the other games Unless they make them completely unrealistic with abnormal proportions there’s not really anything else you can make, even if you were to name 3 different types there’s still twelve more and it would have to compliment their whole design

Ohh... The ability to go back in time?.. Actually that would track.. They mentioned in this video about a mechanic so out of the blue that would make us think Tokio games is crazy.. And let's remember... This isn't a game of only kodaka, but also ushikoshi... To be honest.. I didn't play a lot of his games... But for what I do know is that he is fan of time traveling, reading minds across universes, loops, and overly complicated but good crafted plots... Were is possible to obtain a happy ending... But you need information from the others routes and decisions you make to obtain it.. This time traveling stuff in battles is definitely around his alley but also crazy, because that means they would have to program and write a lot of different scenarios depending on who you decided to save, or sacrifice.... Maybe you can save the clown lady.. But maybe if you do the biker guy dies... And depending on who is alive you receive different information from those characters and moments and scenes... It would be epic and also mean that the first run of each player could end totally different.. Maybe one ends up in a bad ending.. Maybe they arrive to the Tseudo good ending with everyone alive at the day 100 but still are mysteries... Maybe even an aoi asahina ending (if you know what I mean) the possibilities are huge and it would be interesting

No no, that's a good theory actually.. I doubt is ONLY that, but around that vein.. Let me tell you what I think. Your theory is good because this isn't just a kodaka game, is a ushikoshi game as well.. To be honest I never played his game.. But I do know a lot from hearing about him.. His way of story writing is unique compare to kodaka.. The games of ushikoshi are famous for overcomplicated plots and different endings depending on your decisions.. What do I mean by overcomplicated plots? Well, the different endings aspect isn't only a game mechanic, is also a game mechanic explained by an in universe reason on why... He puts elements of time travel, residual memories, telekinesis across different timelines, that the events of the game as you see aren't in chronological order.. Stuff like that... And witch each route completed more information you obtain about the mystery of the game from each character in each route, and, to obtain the true good ending you need to finish all the others routes first, to obtain all information necessary to unravel all mysteries of the game.. The fact that this game haves more than 100 endings is a known fact... But many people didn't thought much about it. They probably thought "oh, that is probably just, short endings if you die in battle, not a lot of plot relevance and just quick endings, they call it 100 endings to promote better the game" but.. The crazy thing is, if all those 100 different endings are actually plot relevants and very well Witten plots depending of witch characters you save, or each decision you make... That's the crazy part, many people think that making this game an RPG means this will focus more on battles and would not be very plot heavy... But the crazy mechanic would mean that this would be the most plot heavy game from these two... You can save you favorites characters.. But who knows if that would lead you to a bad ending.. Who knows what secrets you would uncover in the way.. What thing could not make sense on your first run and make more sense in the next one.. I think you are on the right track my friend.. And I think this will be a good game to play and experiment, since with this mechanic basically means that each player will experience an different first run, and that would be exiting to see what each person gets hehe I can't wait

It would be an pretty original love interest honestly... Instead of the smart girl is the crazy girl... Thing that in this case would make sense... Like... In danganrompa part of the love interest was that girl was pretty useful in investigation and in the class trials (chiaki and kioko) but now with the focus being battles... The most useful person in this situation could be the crazy chick... And also one of the most important and focus character.. I can see her even saving the protagonist in thogh situations.. That could be it... Maybe... In another hand we saw her died in the trailer... Although it can't be clearly seen is her... Given the context clues... The characters that were battling in the earlier part and the characters that were there when that body fell.. And who didn't have HP points in that scene.. It seems she is the first to die

​@@frangolles yes the scene were hinting that she dies..... but what interesting at the end of trailer where the character cast lining up, the main character and the crazy girl is the only two who get highlighted close to each other while everybody else showing their back or they were far away..... showing one of your character dies in trailer would be a pretty stupid spoiler..... also if your party member have HP then they can just die in battle and i dont think its gonna be permadeath like fire emblem, they must be respawning or something.... considering this is still early game and i assume that is a tutorial battle, there must be some sort of system we don't know of.....
