What's necessary to bring life back to downtown is safety. Mayor Jones isn't a leader and refuses to acknowledge/address crime. I used to live in the city. Zero chance of me coming back. I put no strain on city resources, just was part of the tax base.

St Louis has big problems that cannot be fixed by one person or administration.

@@lawnman3638 While you maybe accurate with that statement, you have to start somewhere. Jones isn't a step in the right direction.

We're not safe. When I go to work I look over my shoulder constantly.

There is a move of disinvestment downtown. Why would they move their offices to Chesterfield?

Alderman Aldrige of the 14th ward let the Performance food service on north Broadway ( a fortune 200 or 500 company get lured to Berkely Mo), and not a word is being said. He never said anything about those city earnings taxes leaving. The previous alderman done what he could to keep Proctor and Gamble on north Grand when they were talking about relocating.

Mayor Jones gave us a 4 day weekend. So, what? I'm still not going to vote her in again. But I know who will. Sad. and desperate move, Mayor Jones.
