Synopsis:
The story of a bunch of misfits whose misconception about each others backgrounds end up in a series of chaotic, yet comic outcomes. Aftab Shivdasani (Nandu) and Rimi Sen (Anjali) play two strangers who have to pretend that are a married couple in order to get a place to live. Paresh Rawal (Radheysham Tiwari) plays a rich, yet ground to earth businessman whose business is named after his wife (Shoma Anand) Anjali. Akshaye Khanna (Jeetu) plays a young man starting a new business in electronic ware. Things get complicated when Rimi Sen goes to Paresh Rawal's house in search of a job & meets Akshaye Khanna who falls in love with her thinking she is Paresh Rawal's daughter. Paresh Rawal's wife thinks that he is having an affair with Rimi Sen & while Paresh Rawal thinks his wife is having an affair with Akshaye Khanna due to Rimi Sen and her having the same name. Then comes in Shakti Kapoor (Tejabhai alias Kachara Seth) whose daughter falls in love with a guy pretending to be Paresh Rawal's son and soon everything gets out of control.

No expensive budget on costumes, set, actors. No double meaning vulgar jokes or intimate scenes. Just pure talent, story and acting! Perfect family comedy.. Sad they don’t make movies like this anymore..

Magic of Priyadarshan movies! All current Indian comedies are "Forced comedies" . This is a great example of what Priyadarshan does with a strong script, great writing and brilliant actors. The situations are well put together and intertwined. Priyadarshan is the best Indian director to make complex comedies like this movie. Loved it!

While watching movies repeatedly we skip scenes, atleast songs but this movie is amazing.....! There is comedy in songs too. Dialogues are too funny. Each and every line creates comedy and fun.

We were going from Peshawar to Lahore in a Daewoo Bus and the conductor played this movie on the DVD Player/TV. Almost everyone was unknown to every other. There were ladies, aunties, BUZARGS and children and believe me every one laughed Non Stop and Uncontrollable. The funniest part was some of them were trying to control their laugh but the more they tried to control, the funnier it become. Just Loved it. Master Piece

I have watched this movie 21 times every time i find something new and hilarious. Thats the speciality of GREAT director PRIYADARSHAN. i have watched his all movies more than 10 times.

Here after watching the trailer of Hungama 2 which was a huge disappointment, this classic should have never had a Part 2, Shakti sir, Paresh sir, Akshaye sir, Aftab sir, Rajpal Yadav all nailed this movie to make this a classic blockbuster

Bro Hungama 1 remake from Malayalam movie poochakkoru mookuthi (1984) and Hungama 2 also remake from Malayalam blockbuster Movie Minnaram (1994) actor Mohanlal . Minnaram movie very far from Movie poochakkoru mookuthi . Hungama 2 will be the best Bollywood movie in 2021 ( Take screenshot)
