I would like to thank the Scots for the greatest football experience of my life! The world has never seen such happy, kind, and joyfull people! The joy of the goal and the victory was fantastic, but at the same time I felt very sorry for the Scots. Even after the match, we made friends with a lot of Scots and sang Scottish and Hungarian football songs together. Come on Scotland! You will go further in the next tournament! Hello from Hungary🇭🇺 this match for us was more than a rollercoaster! First, our striker Varga's collapse on the pitch... I was in shock in that 5 minutes, I immidiately thought of the Eriksen situation... After this the team out of nowhere started fighting like their life depends on, they fighted for Varga Barnabás! And that goal in the 100. Minute... I Will never ever forget this moment when everyone jumped in the pitch who could, and everyone holded Varga's kit up high after the match! Incredible TEAM!!!!proud to be a hungarian🇭🇺🇭🇺🇭🇺 this team spirit is why we can cause surprises to the big giants sometime! No big stars but incredible heart!!! Respect to the scots they also fighted till the end, really nice fans! Also huge respect to you for clapping when they took Varga off the pitch! Really kind moment🇭🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

As a hungarian I highly appreciate your sober take after the injury, how you set aside everything about football and the match and emphasized that the health of your rival's player is way more important. Good sportsmanship, and decent priorities. Kudos. As a side note, Varga is okay now, he needed an operation but he'll be fine (hopefully), few broken bones on his cheeks.

If we'd got that penalty we'd have no doubt passed in back to Gunn in case we shot wide and gave away a goal kick. We stunk the stadium out, the fans deserved better.

I'm truly, truly sorry for Scotland. I can say they played an amazing performance in the game, but as you said, it's heartbroken for all Scotland fans and players and I know they thought they're going to win this match, however, we're wrong for our predictions that Hungary gets to win and advancing to round 16. I like how you capture the high emotional stakes involved with this game and show class amidst the ultimate dissappointment at the far end of the game. Hopefully Scotland will finally advance to the next round of a major tournament one day, ideally within the coming decade. Im German and this was so sad for me. I really hoped Scotland would make it to the round of 16 and continue spreading good vibes. That's what the Euros is about having a great time together with all people from every nation and celebrating for our teams. You have such great fans and I love your national anthem. After the Germany game I switched the channel to this game and I couldn't belive what was happening. I was actually kind of sad even Germany saved the first place in the group. I actually wanted to go to stuttgart only to see the Scottish fans and party with them because I live nearby stuttgart. We really enjoyed the time with the Scots during the Euros. I’m no one for wanting folk losing their job but I think the Germany game itself was that humiliating never mind this game that Clarke’s time is up. He’s done ok to get us to two Euros but we’ve been dire at both. New fresh younger manager not affiliated to England is required. Clarke for me fell into the English media trap of believing their pish about us.

That penalty shout should have gone to VAR... we've seen those given by the ref... not as bad as the disallowed Dutch goal against France... but more often than not that penno would have been given
