I'm not sure what kind of Interns you Guys hired to Port the Game over to Consoles but the Aim Controls for Hunt: Showdown on PlayStation 4 feel Godawful, they feel extremely stiff, sluggish. Which i haven't experienced with other FPS Shooters on Consoles that run your CryEngine like Homefront: The Revolution, Warface, Crysis: Remastered etc... My friends don't even play it anymore cause it's just that bad.

@@DarthRavan2012 yoo. Turn off aim assist. Then crank down turn turning extra strength to like 50. From there just mess with shoulder aim sensitivity and aim down sight sensitivity to your liking.

@@purugigi problem in complexity, origin of other bosses has connection with lore characters or events and it would be much harder to tell it in video. Also we must remember, that after appearing, they became just a patterns for the entity, which has started the Incident

@@negative6442 Well, I was referencing the setting / lore rather than the actual gameplay. Gameplaywise, the emphasis on sound is awesome, but it is the close CS:GO-ey fights with A and D / crouch / jump spam where it really is out of place and frankly immersion breaking.

@@jankubala659 I don't care about immersion, I'm fine with the movement mechanics feeling good, quality of life stuff like a crosshair, and a healthy competitive balance over "muh immersion". Why? Because eventually you'll get bored while the game itself aside from graphics and feel will keep me playing.

@@Alvarocious I guess immersion was not the exact word I meant, probably feel is the one I am looking for. Basically in the western setting I would expect someone to lean from around a corner and blast me, instead of jumping out and strafing while spamming crouch.

All of the bosses were ppl once The butchered was a taxidermist The spider has a human face (if you look closely) And i forgot what the assassin was but it is humanoid so it probably was a human

@@mostlynormal9467 if my memory is correct the spider was some kind of mad scientist. But I am pretty sure that William Salter is not the butcher but created it. Anyways meaty boys sure come from something else. My Lore is rusty though I've been too busy getting killed xD

Only thing is there are multiple of the butcher/spider/assassin. In the Lord books a man speaks of a little girl he buried being re countered as the spider when he saw her face on it. In another a man speaks of claiming to have banished one of the bosses. He evidently was not lying when they re encountered the same boss later on in the swamp.

The Spider is also a victim. several corpses thrown into a mass grave and reanimated by the Sculpter with an innocent childs face as it's head. No peace for the dead

Well we do know that The Assasin's name was vincent and he did walk among regular humans, he even drank with one of the Aha members and befriended him. He was commonly spotted during executions at nicols prison.

The fact that he uses tactics, such as closing off entrances and exits behind you with his concertina, ensnares you with his concertina and uses it as traps to cut you off, as well as using his concertina to hit you when he can't reach you

@@larss.5889 I think the Spider is an amalgamation of corpses that formed in a mass grave, with the center corpse being that of a young girl that died of disease. And I think the Butcher was a taxidermist. I haven't seen enough of the backstory to know/ don't remember who the Assassin was. But I agree with you, it would be cool to see these stories as a video format.

Should make a legendary hunter out of scarp beaks civil war dude. Also absolutly love the lore details you throw into your trailers. Bad hands backstory in the dark sight one, scrap beaks here, bone doctor bringing back the revenant, probably other stuff I missed. You guys have made a great story.

Of all of the bosses, I think that Scrapbeak has the most depressing lore. He was a soldier who lost his limbs in war, then the Sculptor took him and transformed him into this malformed horrific beast, and through 3 decades he just went mad. I genuinely feel bad for Scrapbeak. He just wants to be left alone.

I feel like gaming is alive again after picking up Hunt Showdown on Steam, I play for hours and don't realise how much time has passed. I haven't had this feeling in a long time, I love this original concept and take on the BR genre

This guy is not specially tricky, it goes down preety fast w any bayonet... About the scary thing... I run out of the lair when i first encounter him arround a corner. Maybee is because it the new guy and i new to get to it, but EVERYTIME i pass near him, even if i know its him, i jump a little in my chair. The sound efects in this one are preety weel done.

Watching this now its interesting to me how, unintentional as it may be, Scrapbeak and The Phantom both come off as natural foils to each other. Both are men who have prosthetic limbs (The Phantoms arm, Scrapbeaks legs), wear masks (well, more like grafted onto the bone in Scrapbeaks case) to cover their faces and both have a history of some form of violence (The Phantom is noted to have a penchant for violence, Scrapbeak was a soldier). In another life, maybe their roles would have been reversed, or in another life they could have been a hunting duo side by side. It would be cool to see some lore done between the two

Thank god Hunt exists so we can fight and know about interesting bosses that are great in design, have good mechanics within the gameplay and also have quality backstories.
