Great to see Roger again! Last time I saw him was at the high school orchestra awards after party (2013) where orchestra members and families gathered around rapt as he fiddled. Amazing! The orchestra director presented him with a special, one-time only award--the Our Favorite Fiddler Award. Roger has been fiddling for years, but he can also play orchestral music and was in the Honors Orchestra with my son and daughter who are cellists. Great to see Roger excelling at something he loves to do.

Cool seeing Rachel just laying down some rhythm as I usually see her up front on fiddle or banjo. Banjo guy, solid. Fiddle guy, epic. Maybe one day, I too, will be soggy at Clifftop!

i hope so. its a ton of work and i am only posting about the peopke who were kind to me- several prima donna musicians chewed me out and belittled me when i asked to record them, making me feel this is the last year ill do this

Moonshine V That's too bad, I hope it's not the last year you do this. There's just something about seeing these amazing musicians away from the stages and lights playing their hearts out. I imagine these songs will live forever in some cases, so it's cool that you are documenting this moment in the history of these song's (and these musicians) lives. I really appreciate the camera angles you get too. I saw many groups performing this year at Clifftop but didn't get the feeling of sitting right next to the fiddle. Anyhow, kudos to you and all of these fantastic players...

You really captured the spirit of Clifftop 2018. Don't stop. While I understand the professionals wanting control of their product, your videos promote an interest in old-time music in this digital age and increase exposure for those hoping to promote their art. Maybe you need a PR manager.

thanks, FF. i think THEY need a PR manager. its really their loss. going forward, i will never ask someone to be in my channel if they have previously been pretentious to me. i have no interest in promoting difficult musicians on this channel, in my home, etc.

Consider that buffalo HUNTED. (No animals were harmed in the posting of this coming moment nor the shredding of that fiddle)
