Hunter X Hunter: Dark Continent Expedition Arc | NETERO HAS A SON!?

3 жыл бұрынThis is the last video in my Hunter X Hunter arc analysis series, where I cover the Dark Continent Expedition Arc. We were introduced to the Dark Continent in the last arc while Ging was speaking to Gon ontop of the world tree. Now we get further details about this mysterious unexplored land within this arc. We have involvement from characters like Pariston and Ging and even the reappearance of old faces like Leorio and Kurapika. One noteworthy character who makes his introduction into the world of Hunter X Hunter during the Dark Continent Expedition Arc is the son of Isaac Netero, Beyond Netero. So lets find out how this arc sets up the story of Hunter X Hunter now that Gon is on the sidelines.

Togashi takes chances. He has an idea for an arc and he goes through with it without worrying about pandering like most other authors. After the final arc of the 2011 anime, the manga is still super interesting and different than any other series. The hiatuses may be a pain, but there is no way he thinks up these arcs or chapters in a week.. He's a genius, but he's also a hard worker. One of the best authors ever, I'm glad Shueisha lets him do what he wants. Hope you'll one day do manga reviews for Case closed and Fullmetal Alchemist.

I loved how Togashi expanded the world in this arc. The whole "the known world is basically just in a lake" thing blew my mind when I read it. I wish so badly that Togashi would continue his series, but it is what it is. We may never see the end of HunterxHunter that Togashi had envisioned.

Kurapika makes my heart hurt, can't imagine him not dying in the next arc. He's too consumed by vengeance and his ability is a double edge sword. Hope Leorio can be there for him, at least, my man has a heart of gold.

@@schoolofhearthstone4936 he said in interview that he has a pretty good idea on how he's gonna end this arc He is one of those who plan for the story before telling it You can tell when you end watching a certain arc I mean I remember a lot of ppl where confused when the chimera ant arc was going in the manga until it ended and it became everyone's favorite . The writer has back pain problems and he's too busy since he owns all hxh rights unlike other writers in shounen jump also he's an editor in other mangas and helped writing some manga too On top of that I think he's busy with one of his mangas ( yu yu hakusho) getting a netflix live action series So yeah he's a busy guy lol

He did , his legitimate goal was to end dragon ball z at the cell saga with goku passing and gohan taking the mantle , from the s saga and onwards it kept hinting that gohan was special. Dbz itself only came back due to fan demand and the amount of $$$ toei could milk out. He even tried to end it *again* after the buu saga with everyone being alive and living happily, lol but nope fans wanted more and we got dbz gt 💀😂 (Granted sounding like a fake one rn lol I am glad it is where it is with new characters and forms but not in terms of a written story it’s clearly half assed) because I swear the goku black arc had so much more potential , it felt so rushed Edit: just to note Ik gt isn’t canon , toryiama barley had a hand in that at all. The only thing he really even looked at and made green light for canon was the ssj bardock movie

The fact that the current arc, which is the most complicated and detailed arc I've seen in any story, is just a set up for an even bigger arc is mind blowing. If I hadn't known better about Togashi, I would've thought he spends all this hiatus time figuring out what to do with this insane amount of build up.

It's suuuuper dark, through i don't coinsider the Dark Continent Expedition arc, and the succession arc to be 2 different arcs, but one and the same, because of how the dark contienent expedition arc feels like the first part of this big on going arc

DARK CONTINENT is the BEST ARC OF ALL. From the potential fight scenes and technicalities, from new villains and characters but it has the longest hiatus of all arcs.

we NEED an analysis vid of what’s happened so far in the Succession War arc. 4th prince Tserriednich’s is particularly interesting as unlike previous HxH villains like Hisoka, Chrollo, Meruem, etc. there’s little to no charisma to his character as he’s just inherently evil with no redeemable traits. He’d be great for you to cover

Most site the chimera arc for the sole reason to read/view hunterxhunter.i say the way togashi made a simple boat ride into an interesting arc helps flexes his ability as a writer. This boat trip had me more hyped than most current shonen. I really hope togashi can find a artist to pick up the work while he storyboards. Hell I'll accept a bi monthly release

You know whats more frigthening about the dark continent? Its at the center of it there exists a lake and on its center are little islands where a population of creatures whose hearts are so dark and corrupt, they are considered the most dangerous being to their own existance.
