While Pouf and Pitou's growth was intertwined with King, Komugi and their own humanity, Youpi evolved independently from an animal to a human thanks to the exposure he got battling them. Now that's q powerful development. I would say it's in the same degree as Meruem since it was affected purely by human company than being being facilitated by the king's growth.

@@DisProfundis I don't know if they explain it in the manga, but since it is a magical beast born different from Pitou and Pouf, I think it is the one with the greatest evolutionary potential along with Meruem. He put his ego aside, he had a moment when he didn't think about the king, that moment when he leaves the boys alive. It's like you say, it evolved with human contact.

SPOILERS im of the opinion that Meruem could've saved himself if he wanted to. he already kinda chose his powers by now (the En light that later developed into photons), but all the royal pick their abilities as they grow and their needs change basically, pitou chose like 3 different powers in different times, so if he was already aware of his fate (pouf says that he must've realized at some point but would never say it out loud) he could've at least TRIED making a power that'd help him heal himself but his powers naturally developed as light, referring to the meaning of the name "Meruem" which is the light that illuminates all, and used it to extend pouf's powers, being able to read and know everything, something he only developed to find komugi. he also didn't give af when he saw all those hypnotized people last episode, even thought it was supposed to remind him of his role as king. i think he had given up by the time he realized he was poisoned, and only cared about remembering what was so important to him

@@b_delta9725 I thought the kings power was to be able to absorb nen and become stronger when eating nen users. After eating the guards, he got their Abilities too, but non of them was able to save themselves, so he didnt have the power to do so himself. The light particles he used were a kind of Pouf's power, but he isnt able to change/split his form, so its not little versions of him flying around (like Pouf would have used it), its just nen. My guess.^^
