Yes it was a lot of fun but at the same time it proved that Hearthstone is just a slot machine simulator nowadays, based mostly on pure luck and RNG, yes it is a card game so RNG is inevitable, sure, but you can design a card game in a way to make it based less on rng and lot more on skill but with each expansion they are adding more crazy rng based cards, they aren't helping the situation AT ALL

There are better ones with more skill and less rng but yeah good game

I know right, when she started what I think its Mandarin, then went for English I was pretty impressed (considering how hard to learn the language is for both cases) then she went to Japanese and I was blown away.

Yeah he basically had lethal there. Freezing trap wouldn't have mattererd, and he could've played around explosive. Only misdirection could screwed him.

He had no way of knowing it's explosive and not misdirection. However he still should have checked the secret first before tapping and playing anything.

you cannot be sure, if this is the detournement secret, you need to do viper play for maximise your chances to kill.The real missplay was to play the other 1/1 stealth. if you play the 1/3 then atk face ford detournement, then play the stealth you have 100% win except on other discovery.

its a missed lethal from our perspective, there are two secrets viper was worried about, explosive trap and misdirection. He could play around either one but not both. I could be wrong about this, but my guess is that viper really thought it was misdirection. Viper respected the fact that Hunterace saw the counterplay to explosive trap (the play you wrote out) and decided that hunterace wouldnt bluff in that position. So viper maximized his odds against misdirection and got punished for making the better play imo. I really felt for Viper in this position, that was a huge gamble

he did win that match of a viper's coinflip on the rafaam turn and a 1% chance occurance. pretty lucky,but still he's a great player

@@mande7203 i agree he made some great bluff plays and made his opponent think it was misdirection by how he traded whereas the commentators first thought to make value trades but would make it obvious it was explosive trap in which viper would just then rafaam or trigger before playing another stealth boi

@@eduardosanz9434 Eduardo Sanz Eduardo Sanz yes i agree that was the play but theres mind games to this why do you think hunterace traded his si7 agent instead of just breaking the divine shield and backstabbing the 4/3 that wouldve been a play that establishes more board presence for ace of course he bluffed that it was misdirection which viper tried to play around by playing his minions first so that the imp and squire have the smallest chance of not hitting each other which means if it was misdirection he wins 80% of the time whether he goes to the face or trades into the minion and technically he did still try to play around explosive trap since his play leaves a voidwalker that sticks as long as hunterace doesnt have 1 damage he knows hunterace has pick 2 lackeys and greenskin cuz of raiding party and miscreant so he just gambled on him not having 1 damage but of course you just ignored my original assertion that he rnged a board clear so when you say he "missed lethal" in hindisght yes when you have full knowledge of both cards and the secrets but there is no guaranteed lethal since theres always an rng element to it i will tho admit hunterace had a brilliant bluff play even if he did get that godly hs champion worthy rng

Seriously. Blizzard needs to realize the hype they would get from end season tournaments resolving then boom immediately at the end of the tournament they reveal a new expansion. I feel like this would help alleviate some of the boredom from playing near the end of rotations, just watch tournament with the old rotation.

@@sanshuri I agree but to play devil's advocate, Blizzard had around 100K people watching these finals that had entirely new cards, decks, and archetypes. Seems like a pretty good way to advertise a new expansion
