Nice work. Love the positivity. Even when others get down, you guys stay up. Thats the main takeaway for me in regards to your entire series thus far. As hunters we can get down and negative. The wind shifts, we make a bad shot, make a mistake...... It generally gets negative. I think you guys are doing a great thing. Thank You.

One of the first things I put in my archery hunting kit was a Craftsman Allen wrench multi-tool, and has every Allen wrench my bow needs. Minus the large one that holds the limbs on. I figure if my limbs need to be fixed, it's going to have to be at an archery shop.. lol.

Its mid February... Got clued into BRO from the Hunt Backcountry Podcast; the episode talking about this hunt. Didn’t want to jump into episode 24 and miss the backstory so I started where we all begin, at the beginning. So glad I did. Hey, I watch all the ads full length to support you. Everyone who loves what you did should just hunker down and endure. The ads pay the fare and I figure its like being on the mountain with meat in bags. Time for me to load up for the team. What you’ve done here is not just a collection of videos, commentary, jokes... You’ve built a legacy perhaps not to be equaled. Folks will be joining you on this odyssey for years to come. Like hero’s in a mythic tale you’ll be joined by aspiring and experienced hunters, following this trail through five states in a never ending cycle of discovery and celebration. Thank you

Started watching this the other day and saw how y’all guys are and I love it!! There is some cursing sometimes but it happens while hunting when you get frustrated but I like the fellowship and the hugging man I’m a hugger as well. I have never elk hunted but it’s a lot like turkey hunting and I’m going to have to do it one day wish I lived where there was elk cause I would be all over it!!

You guys are great... You really do a good job of showing the average Joe that he doesnt need to spend thousands on premier units and guides, to kill an elk. You make it more obtainable.

I really enjoyed the video.....Real stuff not edited out like other shows, which is why I don't watch hardly any TV hunting programs. The backwoods fix worked.....I'm always packing a set of Allen wrenches whenever I'm out. I guess that's the #1 lesson from the show tonight.....Always check your gear after a fall. I'm looking forward to the next few days to see if Steve, Lenny and the boys will get it done! I've been a customer of Steve's store for many years.

Wow, I had the cable on my riser disconnect also, WITHOUT my knowledge. Being far-sighted, I do not wear glasses when I hunt. So my close vision is poor. Late in the day, I get two, that's two chances, at a 300 pt, both broadside, the farthest shot was 34 yds. I was shocked the bull didn't fall. After I stayed put for an hour, I went to track my shots and look for my arrows. yep, both arrows buried deep in the undergrowth! Big bull lived to see another day. No, the rest of my hunting days were saved when I remembered that back in the day , dental tape was used to secure everything! I spent the night, reconnecting and setting up a 20 yd target and got re-sighted!

Just placed my order. I've bow hunted whitetail but never elk. Definitely on my bucket list now but I still have a "legacy" hunt with a Weatherby rifle that my dad had taken to Colorado for elk first. After that I'll be picking up a new bow (mine is definitely not fit for a bull) and planning a trip. Thanks for the inspiration! BTW, do you guys do or plan on doing guided hunts? I think you definitely have enough interested parties here lol.
