Got to love the shows these birds put on for us. This morning me and a couple buddies shot a limit of Canada’s quick fast up here in Manitoba. After limiting out we just sat back and watched string after string of birds fly over us, it was beautiful to say the least!

Seems like he breaks when you’re in the a-frame and like you said last time he looks like he’s just trying to see. In open field dove hunts and he can see what’s going on the whole time and seems like he’s less likely to break. Just my observations. He broke but stood at the edge of the water to just see what was happening

Bobby, i myself got chocked up when you read that letter. Some people don’t get what it means to be part of the waterfowl community. I have been doing this for 22 years, sense I was three years old. And some people with never understand them memories we cherish. It’s not about the birds we kill it’s about the memories we make and the people we meet along the way. RIP Randy

The mallard and wood duck are standard heaters foam. Actually are valuable. The black duck is a Heater’s as well, but it’s factory burlapped. That one is desirable as well. Excellent collector pieces!

Hi Bobby, such a beautiful gesture to receive something that was hand made for you by a kindred spirit who is no longer with us. May he rest in peace and I’m sure we will see this caller on your lanyard. Sad story but so delicate is life that we must do the best we can while we are here and I believe that you too are a credit to the hunting community. Stay well, stay safe and God Bless. Ash 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Waterfowl hunting is indeed better with friends and family. I miss hunting with my Dad. I never will forget heading out in our boat with the 18 horse Evinrude motor. He had this blind set up on a Mississippi back water. We didn't get a lot a ducks, but it was fun. Back then II had an old single shot 20 gauge loaded with #4 "Duck and Pheasant" load, lead shot! Now it's steel shot and an over under.

Good evening Bobby and the gang, a nice little hole to shoot. It was great to see all the ducks flying around, a lovely sight! Did you put the leash on Fred correctly as he hasn't been breaking? Maybe he did a Houdini? Some lovely gifts on fowl Friday. The garage sale decoys are beautiful. The wooden duck call from Sycamore Valley made by Randy is a thing to treasure. What a sad back story and how kind of Melissa to fulfil Randy's wish and send you the call. You will treasure it forever. Take care all of you. Malc and Ann (England) UK xxx

If you are hunting a large lake that’s long like an elongated circle where would you set up? Obviously play the wind but do you set up on the ends? In a cove? In the center of the lake? First year getting back into it and using decoys. Thanks!

Bob in the middle of your video here, I watch dang near every one of them always great, appreciate everything you do and hope to hunt at the lodge soon. But I wanted to say something to Fred’s breaking and I don’t know if anyone has brought it up but the other day in the dove field Fred didn’t even begin to break and both times he has been in the A frames this year he’s had some issues. I’ve noticed in the video Fred is leaning out real hard to look for birds going down, I wonder if that is what’s happening he’s wanting to get his eyes on them very quick as he should but the A frame is hindering him and he’s taking out of it. In the dove field he had no problem seeing and didn’t break, I wonder if he had a dog hide right outside the blind would he hold in this respect. Just an observation though, anyone have any ideas to add wouldn’t mind having the discussion. 🤙🏻
@Jacob-ec5rs
@Jacob-ec5rs 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah that’s a great idea man he might be able to carve out a little hole in the A frame maybe. I don’t know if that would work though what are your thoughts
@edoyle4320
@edoyle4320 3 жыл бұрын
JacobtheGreat all depends on how Bobby and those guys like to do things, they have dog hides just for the dog or you could modify the a frame to have a dog opening of sorts
