Welcome Back! This is Matt and I love turning trash into CASH. It is Nacho Stuff but that doesnt mean someones trash can't equal cash. You see, many people have abandoned all kinds of random treasures and toss them into the trash. We take these lost valuables and figure out a way to make a buck from them. Sometimes it through resell, other times we might just scrap it. Either way, we are turning free stuff into cash. I prefer the curbside scene but occasionally find myself in a dumpster or two. Join me as I try to turn nothing into something.
I mostly consider myself a scrapper or repurposer of things that people have decided to discard. Some call it picking while others consider it a true treasure hunt. But at the end of the day, like most scrappers, I am trying to reduce our waste while lining my pockets a little in the process. Each piece of scrap metal, item of curbside treasure or piece of dumpster loot means one less piece going into our landfills and that makes me happy. Wish i would have had more to send ya. The pawn shope guy here got me for the majority of it. I had to live off the Canadian locker find. Wristwatch and a sack of wades whimseys is all i have left from it. Scrappity should have tried to make half mill from recalls last longer 🤣😁✌🏻

Matt I came up with a way to stabilize your walls on the end where your spanner pipe comes across. You will need to come up with two lengths of square tubing that will reach to the bottom of your trailer and to the top of your walls. Weld one on each of your existing uprights and to the bottom of your trailer. This will strengthen the uprights and keep them from breaking the welds on your top rail of your trailer. I;ve used this same process many times in the past on various welding projects. I hope you find this useful. Thanks for keeping your videos coming and keeping them entertaining. I think cutting wires on the road slows you down and may cause you to miss some scrape. Someone else may get to it why you are cutting wires. Seem strange to me but I am sure you know best.

Is a tester to find out whether the TV just lights up or does that tell you that it's actually a good TV?

Both. I test to see if it is working - then it goes to the pawn shop at $1 an inch. Screen lights but is damaged or has bad pixels, etc - goes to my TV guy that will pay $10 a set. DOA - scrapped at 6 cents a pound. I test all sets 10 years old or younger.

In street scrapping there is no first dibs - the guy that gets there first has first dibs. Kev, Mike and Me kind of know where the other will be or has been and deal with it. Its all good - it is really a matter of luck - whether you will fall on the great piles of the day.
