the actual shooting is actually much easier than sports archery as we humans are made to shoot without actually "aiming" yet hit moving targets using muscle memory or as we also call it instinctual shooting....on the other hand, being able to shoot on horseback and not falling off is the very difficult type, i bet he had to fall off so many times until he got to the level he is at. you also need to train the horse to hunt with you which is yet another skill that needs to be trained. btw if you don't believe me about the instinctual shooting, get a scrappy bow and have a buddy throw coins or cans and you will see that in a short time you will be able to hit your target

Amazing! Plus he's doing it bareback. I've always heard that without standing in stirrups, horseback archery is nearly impossible. I guess this guy and the oldtime plains tribes didn't get the memo. @@jcscott3117 as a bowhunter it is obvious that either shot placement, bow weight or arrow configuration cause multiple arrows to have minimal, non lethal penetration. Even the gut shots aren't pass troughs. You really seem to know very little about this. Impressive... Kind of a lost thing to see this done in real life. Having worked on a ranch I can only say this is incredible from a riding perspective and being a traditional bowhunter I can appreciate it... BUT... From a clean and efficient killing perspective the draw weight, arrow weight or configuration combined with the less accurate shots, caused a ton of unnecessary gut shots, and obviously very little penetration on tons of non lethal arrows getting stuck in the shoulder bone. Ultimately these animals died from a combination of blood loss and exhaustion, being chased. Not to say hogs aren't invasive and detrimental to many areas, just that, even when bowhunting, clean shots are our goal to prevent unnecessary pain and stress.
