i actually started to play this again after i saw these episodes...just a great game few tips: 1. you don't get rid of "beasts" when you tame a new one...you just need to recall any of them from B menu 2. go into berserk shards...you will find something very fun here :) 3. longbow is actually better...because allows you to zoom a bit and you don't need extra damage for headshots... 4. dhole worth it to tame...it just gather resources for you when it's called...for free! Same with brown bear 5. well....some "beasts" are ridable, some of them also tamable...is up to you to figure out more ;) 6. don't google things...it's always way better and satisfying to discover... just keep going! it's fun to watch even after playing it

Love the continued gameplay, Fooster! The Stone Woman you encountered during the dream was based on the Venus of Willendorf found in Austria and dated to about 25,000 years ago from the Paleolithic time. Also, the Udam appear to be remnants of Neanderthals that may have still existed in Europe as late as about 30,000 years ago (although not in Austria/Germany but more like the coast of Portugal). Sorry for the archaeology lesson--but it is what I did before I got into gaming. So this is one of the reasons I love this game SO much. Also, there are a few other Easter Eggs. I'm annoyed I never found the Flintmobile!!

Tips and info for Fooster: - Those heavies are called Chieftains they can shred your tames easily and yourself if you are not careful. They need their own takedown skill which is in Karoosh's skills top row middle. Your spears are good against them and sting bombs can kill them as well. - When you tame beasts you get xp for skillpoints so tame up the other beasts. - The Great Scar Bear, Bloodfang and Snowblood are special tames that require you to go on hunts and beat them up a bit before taming them. On these hunts you can find traps to help you. - There is also another great beast hunt in the North called the Bloodtusk Mammoth. - The first upgrade of winter clothing lets you survive longer in the cold not forever, the second upgrade however does let you survive forever you will need 2 white wolf skins and 2 rare white yak skins. - There should be a food recipe menu that will appear on the left side of your screen. It allows you to use different healing amounts and craft special boosts: speed boost, scent camouflage, fireproof recipe, antidote (requires a mission from Sayla) and the ultimate boost. Also please use hunter vision its so useful it highlights enemies, animals, resources anything you can interact with. It also highlights crocodiles and bitefish in the water. I know you may have your reasons but please. On the other note I really enjoy your content man, I only found you recently but I love watching you make your Oros and how you interact with everything. I hope you find this useful.

Fun fact the skulls in the hot spring is actually an elephant graveyard, loving the vids so much fun to watch I’ve been playing this game for years and it’s really nice to see a creator revisiting older game, keep up the good work mate

Far Cry Primal one of the best underrated far cry game I played. It's survival and crafting system is very unique and fits well with its pre-historic theme.

Fooster, there is a skill u can unlock so u can ride the sabertooth cat. It's really fun and it's a great great time. It also alot of fun to run around the map on the back of that beast. Anyways love this gameplay and keep up the great work

This was a pretty cool game, especially that your four-legged companion will actually eat animal and human corpses to replenish its health, which was a great dose of realism. Tthe only thing I wish they would've added was to give players the option between 1st person and 3rd person camera angles. Would've been nice to see our character.

I guess we know why The Flintstones ended. The NPCs in Far Cry are priceless. 😂 I remember in Blood Dragon, I was trying to save a group of scientists. They decided to fight back against the attackers, and one yelled excitedly: “I’m WINING!” right before getting one-shot.

The fact that you can ride the apexes has to be one of the coolest things about this game

hey fooster i don't think you did realized but the statue is base on a real upper paleolithic statue that was found in Europe, siberia and eurasia. the lady statue is names as the venus fingurines was said to be date back from the gravettian period and were made from clays, soft stones, and even bone or ivory. they are consider the earliest perhistoric art. it also believed that early humans may use them for rituals or be a symbolic, but it unknown to what their cultural meaning so it mainly specualtions. but what really interesting is that historians and archeologists think that use to the figurine exaggerate feminine figures (wide hips, big breast, etc) it may also represent a spiritual deity or goddess of health and fertility. (sorry for the rant. I'm a big history nerd :P)

The cool thing about switching out your tamed animals is they rest of them are on standby, you just call the one you want and they show up.

Most creative and fun far cry game in my opinion

This is still BY FAR my most favorite Far Cry game in the series it was just exciting and made you feel vulnerable cause unlike the other game, NO GUNS so you genuinely had to pick and choose your targets and hope you could take them up with either your spear or your bow and arrows.

It’s underwhelming till you sink that pick of a rock into someone’s head with no resistance

Hey fooster just wanted to give you a few tips. When you lack resources check your stash in your cave or at a fast travel point first maybe you already have it. And for your tamed animals, canines are best for hunts for leather, felines are great against humans and mammoths, bears are just all around monsters especially the cave bears. And clubs are overpowered.

@Fooster...just in case you ever wanted to know the "dhole" as FC Primal calls them are not Dholes. A Dhole is an Indian wild dog. These are actually modelled on the African Wild Dog endemic to Africa and they've used the completely wrong soundtrack for them. The sound you're hearing when you see the "dhole" is the vocals of a Hyena. So all in all they messed up royally on this animal....LOL Still a fun game though!! 😁 (PS - I'm South African and know these animals intimately)
