That bike looks my grandfather's neighbors in Los Altos California. My grandfather also had a whole garage full of Indian and triumph ,HD. Along with others. He sold his house on Linden Avenue. And moved to Sebastopol. California. And I think one of my goofy uncles ended up getting all the bikes when he passed away

HuntingHarleys Is that how you do it? Wouldn't that mean that there's a limited number of parts to go around? They must go for a pretty penny. I suppose a skilled craftsman could rebuild just about anything but still, not an easy task by any means.

I like that motor it be cool if sns redid that motor no one redoes motors older then the flat head that I know of its cool seeing the push rods working
@HuntingHarleys10 жыл бұрын
they are really cool watching them run. I seriously doubt S&S will remake this motor though. Not enough interest in the 1920's stuff and not enough parts to put motor's into if they were made. Only the 1928 and 29 JD's had front brakes and the rear brakes did not work very well. These motor's do not fit into Knuckle, Pan or even VL frames.

Dude you have the coolest friends , 80% of the bikers I know are sunny day chrome polishers , last week I had a friend go home because there was too much " mist " in the air , first I've heard that one , my wife has multiple sclerosis & she's more of a hard core rider than most men I know with bike collections , she rides the fuck outta her Fatboy & her little Buell blast , I'll hear a bike start up & she's gone without saying shit to me lol .
@HuntingHarleys8 жыл бұрын
+Michael Ledford she sounds like a wonderful woman. you should join the AMCA. You'll meet all kinds of people who have and enjoy old bikes. Just go to their meets. www.antiquemotorcycle.org/

HuntingHarleys Thank you , she is an awesome gal , for 40 yrs she's rode with me , kept all our bikes cleaned up , never jumped off into that whole feminazi shit & been happy to be a girl , thanks for the link , I will read up on it , there aren't many bikers around me who ride their pans & knuckles like I do , there all for show so it'd be nice to meet other folks who actually ride their bikes .

Your wife has MS and still rides??? Wow she is lucky to be able to do that my father had MS and so does my sister i know what that does to a person. Their balance goes to shit after a while!!!
@michaelledford47517 жыл бұрын
Baja5b nut case yes it does,2016 was the last yr my wife will ever ride one of her own bikes ,she rode her little Buell blast and had a help of a time with depth perception,she parked her fat boy for good and had to ride with me now,she only rides on the back for my feelings because I can see it's very little fun for her after riding her own bikes for 40 yrs . She just started taking the last IV medicine they can offer to MS patients to slow the nerve damage,it takes 4 hours to administer and makes her sick for 48 hours afterwards,I pray the meds give her back her life .
