season 2 is not over yet , and season 1 was good but not faithful to the manga

It's over now and it was bad. I don't care about faithfulness to manga when the story itself is enganging. Season 2 was faithful to manga and what of it? We've seen some of the stuff that already was in the season 1. We've seen the worst part of the season 1 again, that time when they don't trust Rin whatsoever. And the villains? One twat that stays behind when he could've left which leads to his loss and thus he seems kinda brainless. And the other one literally doesn't have brain because it is just mold/rot. If they went for 24 episodes and gave us more than yeah, it could've been good. But this rehash of material and repairs of the story just for the sake of following the manga was bad. And now since the season 2 received mostly bad reviews and bad responses they most likely won't do another season anyway. So it was pointless in the end. Even opening is worse than the openings of season 1. If they give us another season I hope it will be good because I REALLY LOVED season 1. It was one of my first anime I've seen. I have some fond memories of that story. So the season 2 was really a letdown for me.

The last half of season one went on a different path to the manga because apparently the creator didn't have enoughcontent at the time, so technically speaking episode 17 onward didn't really happen, kinda confusing I know. Season 2 basically picks up from season 1 episode 17, following on from where the manga left off. Hope that helps?

Oh sorry, I didn't realise. I kind of like the change to season 2 though to be honest, there was far more character development I think and the plot felt a lot less rushed.

I wasn't as much of a fan of her in season 2 I'll admit, her constant whiny-ness and Rin this Rin that grated on my nerves a little after a while, but she's still way too cute to ever not like.
