That's not the claim though... the claim is that Congress are the only ones able to prosecute a President (former or current). The claim does have some merit, as Congress are the only ones able to impeach a sitting POTUS, and thus revoking presidential immunity. As a general rule, presidential immunity applies to anything that the President does *in their capacity as POTUS,* The unsettled question is whether it extends beyond the duties of the presidency to the actions of the President as a private citizen. That's why the Republicans are going after Biden _in Congress:_ because according to their own claim, that's the only place they can do it.

You have no evidence to counter the claim and in turn conjecture is valid. But we're still on track to hit a wall here in a generation or two when nearly every major institution we have finally buckles under the pressure of a half century of neglect. Economy, house prices, retirement funds, education system, corporations having more power than ever and funding along with bribery every election, the nearly $1 trillion per year we pay in JUST interest every year etc.

Very true. In addition, Rose Hanbury is not a public figure. Such needless cruelty to two blameless women, and their families is inexplicable. Does adding to human tragedy and suffering now constitute entertainment?

@@mbd6054 It was cruel and heartless - even before Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis. I thought Colbert was a better man and above that, but I was wrong. For a man who wears his Christian faith and values like a badge of honor to stoop to such depths makes him look two-faced at best. I'd say it makes him look smug, spiteful and sanctimonious. His writers and producers look equally bad.
