Nearly three million homes and businesses are waiting for the lights to turn back on in Texas after Beryl came ashore as a category 1 hurricane. Hawaii residents visiting the Houston area said they've been without power for several hours Monday on July 8. Officials warn it could take several days to restore power since the storm knocked over ten transmission lines and countless trees.
