We take an overlanding trip to western NC in Snazzy, our JLU. We ran a bunch of fire roads and then hit Hurricane and Max Patch.

Love the firelog recommendation!

did this about a month ago in a stock '23 tacoma sport. Made it unscathed but would definitely recommend at least 33 inch tires and a lift.

I wish it wasn't so far away... I love Hurricane Creek

Worried about one spot. You probably know the spot. Is it as bad as some say or is it still passable for a jeep with 33’s and a small lift?

Well I know the section of trail your asking about, but Snazzy did it on 33s and a small lift, so you should be fine. Just don't wheel alone and have a spotter.

My factory Sequoia on 31.7" half bald street tires managed everything a few weeks back. Atrac works amazing. Just go slow, air down the tires, and have a spotter. It's a blast
