Black Hawk and Dixie Farm RD Houston 77089
Massive flooding through the night. This was the first time I was able to fly the drone as it was too dark at night. This is after the water fell several feet! we were 3 inches away from flooding in the house.
We are ok as of now but know this is day 2 of 5 days. Please be safe out there

I remember when I was 20 years old, in May 1974, working for the water and sewer department of Cambridge On Canada and we had 3 inches of rain in 8 hours and it caused unbelievable damage to the down town area as the Grand and Speed Rivers meet at Cambridge. The flooding in downtown streets looked like this video. I can't even imagine 30 inches of rain over three days. I feel so bad for the people and the areas that are suffering from Harry and the aftermath rain. My thoughts and sympathies go out to all. I know the damage to water infrastructure and the buildings, but the personal loss of goods and memories is the worst for the individuals to bear.

Excellent video. It brilliantly illustrates that mainstream news is behind the times. We have to put up with reporters standing in water or bracing themselves in the wind to show the weather and damage. Here amatuer footage does a better job.

Pray for all in Houston and all Texas, I have a lot families and friends in Houston, and is not easy in this situation, only pray to God. From Maryland, I back from houston one week ago last Sunday after 3 week vacation with family, and now is happen this, I really feeling sorry for what happen. God keep safe every body.

its a phantom 3 standard with upgraded gimbal. Nothing too fancy.

God that looks just awful. What happens if someone gets sick or something like that? My heart goes out to these people. It will take years to recover from this.

Nancy Desch, I worry about the elderly and disabled. People who have disabilities and ambulatory problems. Not everyone can just walk out and get on a boat. This is so hard to watch.

Looks like there is going to be a massive amount of property damage. When I was living there during Alicia in the 80's, that was the most costly hurricane to date back then.

wow I've never seen anything anything worse than this Harvey Might have just set a record even Katrina was bad but I don't think this bad I hope my friends and family members are all okay and every one I'm praying for all stay safe find a life jacket if you see anyone in trouble help them -I wish the best of luck for all of you♡

and how do you evacuate 6.5 million people? Where do you put them? There's not enough gasoline in area to fuel even 20% of vehicles needed. Not as easy as it seems.

Tammy Wines the mayor of Houston had the nerves to say on live tv that he did not know. He knew they would get some rain but he did not expect this much. I have been following this before the hurricane hit and heavy rainfall was predicted in Houston. What part of this did he miss? 40 inches is a lot of rain. There were warnings of flooding in Houston. The blood of the innocent will be on his hands! The governor of Houston said to evacuation, the Mayor told people to "stay put." The mayor should be run out of office.

I don't know what the race of Houston's mayor is or what that would matter when it comes to a job of keeping ppl safe. So I understand it would be impossible for 5 million ppl to leave that city and surrounding areas. Houston is America's 4 largest metropolis . Why not have the ppl move to shelters on Saturday evening before the rains came? But then we as adults can't wait on any government to keep us safe we need to wipe out own noses, make sure were ready for emergencies, and move on with life. I have lived through floods, fires, 5 foot snow stormsstirns, ice, it is about being prepared and never take the warnings for granted !

Residents should do some homework on where they live. Houston is a flood zone. Had to be evacuated back in the 30s.

PLEASE KEEP DRONE GROUNDED. FAA HAS ISSUED A TFR/BAN ON ALL CIVILIAN UAVs In TEXAS ACA South Inland/Central Inland/North Inland Coast and South Coast/Central Coast/North Coast.The FAA can fine the person $1,414 per occurrence along with other charges. Typically the FAA would charge the person with flying in the TFR along with flying carelessly and recklessly which would result in 2 charges of 1,414 each with a total fine of 2,828.

Videography and sharing part is completely legal and as American I fully support the 1st Amendment. The FAA has control of ALL US AIRSPACE and has issued a NOTAM of a TFR in previous stated regions. It’s a huge safety hazard for low flying rescue aircraft. It’s extremely difficult to spot a DJI size drone moving at 150 MPH. Just like driving a vehicle it’s a privilege not a right.I commented as an advisory, Need to look at it from other prospectives. Rescuing stranded people from their rooftop or this 4:11 video more important?
