Fort Myers was pummeled with 150 mph winds and rain as Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida. The storm caused major flooding on Sanibel Island. Manuel Bojorquez has the latest.

I don't think so. This is an Ancient pattern. Look at the coast line and see those concave areas. Those are locations where hurricanes hit multiple times. Some are probably just natural variation of the coast but most are not. Also the sun spots on the sun also contribute to it. This is all hypothesis. I will need 75 years of data to prove or disprove it. Now maybe the earth was warmer at some point and was womping those hurricanes all the time. Maybe we are reactivating that pattern with fossil fuels. Just know, that this has happened before so much destructively in the past. Truth be told I want to see that outcome re-emerge. We might be getting rain in the sahara depending on how long lived we can make the low pressures.

my grandmother survived the galveston tx sept 8, 1900 hurricane. To this date that is the largest loss of life in usa from a natural disaster. I guess all the suvs, trucks and cars in1850 set it up. Instead of following current thought ......think.
