"I'm sure 998 of those without me must have been tough" Jared might not have had a long career in the NHL, but he might have a second calling as a comedian.

Bizarre seeing Jordan Staal playing in his 1000th game. I remember him scoring his first goal shorthanded as an 18 year old

How fitting that his first goal was a shortie. just a little foreshadowing of things to come for Staalzy, the Penalty-Kill Magician! Congrats Jordan, miss you in Pittsburgh!

Congrats to Jordan Staal. Good ole Northern Ontario lad ;-() Great hockey talent, great guy, beautiful family - there's Canadian Club, then there's Canadian Class.

Man... I remember when I met this guy, I was only 8... I think that was the only time my dad was happy that he took me to Toys R us lol. (I remember when my dad turned to me, said “That’s Jordan Staal”, and pointed at him... we only talked to him for a few minutes but I knew my dad was happy when he wouldn’t stop talking about him to my mom)

From a family of sod farmers, as my main man Mickey Redmond thought necessary to remind everyone (as he does every time the wings play the canes lol)

It’s league high attendance this year though. Allowed 4,987 fans for last 6 games and sold out all 6

@@GoalHornGeek haha yeah I know. The canes attendance joke has always annoyed me so I wanted to use it since everyone has terrible attendance now lol

@@Supercybersonic619 yes but we do something called tailgating. We were the first fans to tailgate in the NHL because of the massive property and we’re the first NHL team to have cheerleaders
