Endlessly grateful for the immense levels of detail everyone at Toys For Bob have put into recreating this beloved series, be it the incredible Spyro Scope programmers, the often under-appreciated sound team, the imaginative new music composer, the returning and new voice actors/actresses, or the surely exhausted and sleep deprived, but sincerely amazing graphic artists.

That portal building itself up at the end of the level looks amazing!

Good on the team for making the metal objects shine; a lot of fans were suggesting that fix. I would recommend implementing a depth of field effect to focus in on the NPCs when they're talking, so that it's more of a change from the normal view. Just a note: The Gear Grinders worked on the robots in the original game, too.

Spyro 2 was the first game I ever bought. I got it on the discount games shelf at toys r us back nearly 20 years ago. When my toys r us was about to close on the last day of business I went right where I bought that game years ago. I stood there nearly teared up and said. “This is where it all began.”

That was a nice surprise! I'm really digging that remastered music, and I love the fact that Toys for Bob kept the look of the electrolls very close to the original, yet still managed to add a few creative touches of their own. They're so cute! And is it just me, or do they appear rather goat-like? Anyway, I hope we get to see a glimpse of Spyro 3 gameplay by the end of August. A girl can dream, right?

Forever grateful, believe me I love this. And I'm surprised by this considering Hurricos is one of my favorite worlds in Spyro 2. I adore it and I'm so glad it looks wonderful and well within its design too! Hopefully TFBs adds the rain effect, and it would be pretty awesome if Spyro's scales got that shine when they're wet too, but of course they don't have to add that, it's a suggestion. I do have ONE thing that bothers me tho. Spyro's flame attack is a bit odd, like they're fake fire ribbons being spewed out. It may be the lighting or something because it looks off to me. Other than that, the game and everything so far up to this point is spot-on!

This looks incredible, I am so excited. I really hope there are new soundtracks for levels that reused a song. (Example being Fracture Hills using Idol Springs song). Fracture Hills is my favorite, and I'd love to hear an all new track for it!

Yaaay! I actually just played through the original Hurricos last night! It looks amazing! My only critique is that I wish it was raining a bit more. Since they added the lighting rig the level feels more sunny then the original and I barely notice how much it’s sprinkling

Well this was totally unexpected!

I pre-ordered this game for Xbox One at GameStop about a week, maybe 2 weeks ago, and just from what I'm seeing, I have no regrets.

Am really impressed so far Toys for Bob. The graphical fidelity of the remakes are fantastic, akin to 2016's Ratchet and Clank (in fact it's looking better at points) it's obvious that the team are fans of the original games and are doing their upmost to listen to criticism and make changes accordingly. The new music is sounding great, the lighting particularly is looking really good, and I can't wait to play the game when it releases :)

I hope this game sells very well and the reviews get a good score for it.This Spyro Complication really deserves it.

This remastered soundtrack is beautiful. I really hope they release it for purchase. Heck they don't even have to have a physical release. I'd happily download it from Amazon or iTunes.

To people nitpicking the gem sounds, the gems made a different sound in the original spyro 1 than they did in the sequals and it seems like they wanted to keep the sound across all the games here.

Can you guys do something about Spyros flying? Spyro used to look like he was nervous/unbalanced when he would glide, by tilting side to side and having his legs splayed out with a bit of butt wiggle. This new Spyro looks like he’s got speed and percision. Idk it’s what I’ve noticed.

Looking forward to trying this as I never played the original Spyro games, but I'll be waiting for the pc release, after seeing Crash play at 60fps and beyond there's no way I could play this at 30

this looks spectacular, i just have 1 complain, is there a way you can do the skybox trick for the portals?, i feel that was something very iconic in the first 3 games and really conected the worlds together
