Wintering away from bed can't be very good for Moomins, for when spring comes Moomin has a terrible cold and takes to bed when all the others get up. This year Snufkin is very late and Moomin worries far more than is good for him. Finally, Snorkmaiden sets off to try and find Snufkin and bring him back, hoping this would bring about a speedy recovery. Stinky makes a bedside call and agrees to help Moomin go out to look for Snufkin. Poor Stinky - he learns that when you have a bad reputation good deeds don't really help much.

I love how many characters in Moominvalley represents Snufkin as Spring because of how he always comes back in spring and when they sees him or hear his harmonica, they will automatically know that its finally spring! I love that character detail so much on Snufkin!♡

I’m sure he would hate that people look up to him, dress like him, sell things with him on it and write stories of him. He is just being himself and he wants everyone to be themselves too. But if the person truly believes that Snufkin’s aesthetic is one that parallels their own who is he to say anything.

He doesn’t really like new tech very much so why would he be an e boy 🤣 I know the people are usually just wanted to draw their favorite character in a new aesthetic which if fine. He isn’t real so people can do what they want. But it he was I would be pretty peeved off. I would defiantly stand up for Snufkin’s right to be himself.

Lillian Adkins I just remembered I have a notebook with Moomin on the cover. On the inside are all the Moomin characters including Snufkin, but each Snufkin is cut off so you never really get a good picture of him. It is probably not purpose, but I thought it is clever. Snufkin wouldn’t want to be on merchandise, so him hiding away from being fully seen on some is pretty in character. Lol

Okay so this might sound silly or dramatic but like, I’m so genuinely happy that you guys decided to start putting out these episodes on KZfaq. Seeing as I wasn’t even alive when it started coming out, and that I live in the states, I had never even heard of the moomins until I looked up the meaning of a song lyric mentioning Snufkin and Little My. I had kind of forgotten about it for a while after that, and thought nothing of it until the first episode popped up in my recommendations section, and ever since then I’ve looked forward to when the next episode gets uploaded. This show has really been helping me through this school year because lately it’s been nothing but exhaustion and anxiety for me, but when I sit down and watch an episode of this show, I just feel so much better. Thank you guys, really!

16:05 i love this conversation of showing what inferiority complex and beeing too fascinated to be someone else is. If you are looking up too much on others, youre never going to be yourself. Thats why no one ever noticed him and why he dont have a name. The little fella is unwritten because he never had shown too much of his own nature and character. What a complex episode. I understand why I've been hearing so much about this Teety-Woo character now. It really fleshes out Snufkin's character. We get to see him on his travels, see him irritated with something, and see him showing compassion. For that matter, the cold frustration he has on his face when he looks at Moomin is very revealing about his inter struggle of being well loved (and apparently also famous?) and not feeling that others should admire him as much as they do. Perhaps he's right with how badly it affects Moomin. This is really speaking to me as I'm growing fully into adulthood and beginning to have less and less time to spend with my siblings who I care for very dearly. It's been tough, but I also have to learn how not to hold on to them too tightly. Pining over the people who are far away too much doesn't help anything. It only makes things more painful than they need to be. Also, we've learned that Snufkin actually knows how to play a different song on the harmonica! LOL. Also, I appreciated that Stinky - in spite of his near-homicidal tendencies - cares enough to look after Moomin when he insists on going to look for Snufkin. Even the darkest vessels can still harbor a light in them. Also, Yay! More boldness out of Snorkmaiden. I was worried early on in this series that I wouldn't like her, but she's been growing on me... I wish I could see episodes of the new series so I could see what they are doing differently, but oh well. :) ....Oh wow... I had a lot to say about this episode. Maybe I should make videos about this show? If anybody likes that idea, let me know I guess.

Moomin and Snufkin are definitely connected to each other in a strong way that I can see. This year had definitely effected them greatly if both of them ended up getting ill while they had been separated during the winter months. Even if you are doing what you wish, you wish to see someone important. And the moment with Stinky actually willing to help Moomin go find Snufkin was surprisingly kind of him, and everyone immediately yelled at him. This is why troublemakers have issues getting out of bad habits cause others still get on you even when you've done nothing wrong.

Well, this is the one and only time he's not being a jerk. Yeah, it sucks that everyone's ganging up on him but he kinda brought it on himself by locking an emotionally suffering girl in a cave to try and make her depressed and force her to rob a bank for him (among other things).

Have seen this episode. It's a great episode even though I think little my is really out of character in it. Honestly it should be little my venturing out to track down Snufkin. In any case the scene with tweety-woo is a classic, and the art style is as beautiful as ever. such a brilliant show.
